I like to support small business whenever possible. Donut shops are one of the best places to do that. I let the staff choose a dozen donuts for me for a get together with some friends. Everybody enjoyed them. One day I will have to try one of the other items on their menu.

I just moved to the area at the beginning of April, and I’ve already visited this place 5+ times. Whether it be for coffee, donuts, or a breakfast sandwich/burrito I’ve never been disappointed. The quality and taste of everything have always been great.
The workers are friendly and polite. A lot of them are young, and I’ve noticed some may be a little more shy but never rude. Some of the reviews mention poor service but I wonder if it’s because those customers didn’t receive outwardly extroverted service. For some of these kids, this is probably their first job, so they’re still learning those service skills and how to deal with customers. I’ve personally never had a bad experience nor have I witnessed one.
Sometimes when it gets busy, the line can take longer to move because there’s only 2-3 people up front who are having to take orders, box donuts, make drinks, and check people out. On top of that, customers take a bit to decide which donuts they want and how to customize their food. I understand and don’t mind the wait because I know the quality is excellent. They make the sandwiches/burritos to order, so it’s always fresh and good quality ingredients.
I love visiting this place as it’s just a short walk from where I live. I don’t understand where the bad reviews are justified, but I do know they recently changed management so maybe that’s why. Sugar & Spice is a cute mom and pop shop that’s worth the visit!

Ive been going here since before and after the owner change, and to be honest, I was initially worried about changes to the items when the new owners came. But within about a week or so of going, I talked to one of the owners, and they assured me that they will do their best to maintain the products that has always been sold here. I can safely say they have kept that promise.
The bagel sandwiches are amazing (Especially with the jalapeno cream cheese on it), and even the donuts are better than before in my opinion. As well as that, their seasonal and specialty menus are unique and offer a variety of options that might not be on the regular menu (or provide a combination you might not have thought of).
On top of that, their service is always phenomenal and Im always greeted very warmly upon entry.
I don’t usually do reviews, but I felt compelled to do so after so many visits.

Great smoothies, sandwiches and coffee.
Our entire basketball team went there and they were able to fulfill a bunch of orders reasonably quickly. They also gave us some free donuts in the end.

Bad service, bad attitude barely any doughnuts showcase coffee was bad and watered down prices were blacked out so you can’t see them, post-it notes over the menu. The doughnuts aren’t bad but they were packaged so bad that they were messed up in the bag

Best donuts I have found in the west valley! Fluffy, perfectly dipped, covered in glaze… Nothing I hate more than a dry donut that leaves a greasy aftertaste. Sugar N spice has somehow created these magnificent donuts that don’t fall in either of those categories. They are perfect. These donuts remind me of a famous bakery from my home state and keep me coming back for more. I’m dying to try their croissants & the cheese danish. Staff is friendly and they also offer breakfast burritos ($7.50), breakfast sandwiches ($5.75), BYO sandwich ($7.50), cupcakes (Fri-Sun only), coffee, smoothies, & boba.

Pretty sure they low-key called me FAT. Went in early-morning to get a dozen donuts for my family and have NEVER experienced this kind of interaction. Bought a dozen mixed flavors, majority were the specialty ones, paid over $50 for a dozen, but I like to support local businesses. While she was ringing me up, the asian woman behind the counter says “Wow!” then asked “You having a party?” because I bought “so many”. Then I got questioned how many people are in my family and she wanted to know how many kids I had. She gave me very passive-aggressive attitude because the majority of the dozen were the specialty ones. I’ve never been given a hard time or questioned for buying a dozen donuts, which btw, did not taste as good when business was ran by previous owners. Will never come here again.

Got one of the special holiday coffees (iced caramel pistachio latte) and a sandwich for lunch. Service was quick and friendly and the latte might have been one of the best I’ve had!

This place is easy to miss driving by but Google maps will get you there just fine. It’s a bit tucked away in a small corner mall where the doors face in…not visible from the road. They have great Vietnamese coffee (condensed milk and coffee over ice) I believe its called the sugar n spice! I also had a breakfast sandwich. For a sandwich or burrito they have you “create your own” on a order slip so its just the way you want it. I chose a homemade crossiant, egg, avacado, mayo and bacon. It was a short wait for my order and I got it to-go. My sandwich was neatly wrapped and assembly neatly as well. Hot and delicious even after I got home…it didn’t turn to mush in the process. I was very impressed. I will definitely go back and try more of the menu. They had an amazing looking pastry case! People were friendly and made recomendations when I asked. Although busy the place looked clean and organized. They have free wifi too so all and all… its a great morning spot.
7/15/17 Tried Vietnamese Coffee, a strawberry donut and breakfast burrito….did not disappoint. My neice had the iced whit choc mocha. Brother had boston cream and hot mocha. We’re all well satisfied!

I enjoyed my toasted marshmallow coffee ☕️, this is a nice local shop, I would recommend. Donuts and pastries looked delicious but I didn’t try anything this visit.
