My husband and I completely enjoyed our visit to Sugar Rose Bakeshop in New Prague, Minnesota! We ordered a variety of goodies to enjoy at home but shared the strawberry scone as we drove away. The scone was so delicious, truly one of the best scones I’ve ever had, we turned the car around and went back to buy two more. The large Americanos were perfectly made and I appreciated that they allowed me to add my own cream. We will definitely be returning to this charming local, small business! ❤️

My family and I have been getting our scones from Sugar Rose for a couple years. My opinion…this is the best bakery within an hour. I get their scones several times a month. The lady’s that work here are always so nice and the place is kept clean.
This bakery also does dessert treats and drinks, coffee and teas. I like their chai tea.
The prices are very reasonable for the quality you get! I would pay more for this good of bakery items.
They usually have 2-3 different flavors of scones every day, they are really good about posting what they have for that day on there Facebook page!

Since my family loves the cupcakes at Sugar Rose, I decided to order my daughter’s birthday cake there too! I placed an online inquiry a couple of weeks before pickup. My order was confirmed quickly and a different cake size suggestion was offered to me which I really appreciated!
We picked it up and it was waiting for us in the fridge up front at the time specified for pick up. It was both beautiful and delicious. Jody is an amazing baker and kind person and it is so wonderful to have her talent in our community!
