I went here to celebrate a few birthdays. The Sugar Factory does a good job of singing “happy birthday” wit a lot of energy to the intended person. Unfortunately, I was not impressed for all of the hype I have heard about this place. The music was WAY too loud, so much so that I could not have a conversation without shouting at the person who was sitting right next to me. The atmosphere is really not “kid” friendly because of the type of music that was played. The restaurant was also VERY chilly, so it was difficult to become comfortable. To Women’s Restroom was filthy, paper towels everywhere, toilet paper strewn all over the commode and a stall that was “out of order”. The food was mediocre at best, nothing that I could not have made at home. My lemonade did not taste like lemonade. It was more like water with a hint of lemon. I had originally ordered and Arnold Palmer, but they had run out of sweet tea. We ended up cutting our meal short, asking for to-go boxes, payed for our over-priced meal and left the restaurant. Our server was great! Awesome customer service, but I will not be back.

The drinks are delicious as well as the food. Loved the decorations in the restaurant/bar. The colors and decor were beautiful. The manager was awesome and our server was so sweet and attentive. I will definitely have to come back and try brunch with my daughters plus take advantage of the happy hour specials. Happy customer and I will definitely return.

We came on a Sunday afternoon, initially it wasn’t too busy but quickly filled up. I would definitely make reservations. Food was better than I anticipated based on other’s reviews. I really liked my Turkey burger, the sliders, and onion rings. My friends didn’t really like the tacos. The drinks were good but definitely more juice or candy than alcohol. Our server Rose was amazing! Overall this is a great place to come for a celebration or something sweet.

First, let’s all look at the aesthetics of the pancakes compared to the chicken and waffles. The chicken and waffles look just like they taste, bad. The chicken was mostly breading and dry. Everything else was great and because of this I would go again. The place can get LOUD. I like the actual restaurant, it was clean, but they had the walls up and that resulted in the smell of urine that made the experience less enjoyable but it’s not the fault of the establishment. The waitress Layah was attentive, helpful, and patient which improved the experience.

Place was really loud! The music was not kid friendly. The server was nice though although I had the hardest time hearing him due to the music. We ordered dessert only and they were just “ok”. The bathroom was nasty! The 20% that’s automatically added is insane on a bill for 2 people, they do have a sign telling you about it at the front when you come into the restaurant so its not a surprise.

Food was mediocre. My waitress barely spoke to me, I had to grab her to speak about what I needed/what was missing (she never brought my drink & one of our appetizers was supposed to have a rubber duck on it that was missing). The restaurant adds a “mandatory service ch” of 20% to your bill no matter how many are in your party (mine was a party of 3). It states 3% goes to restaurant & 17% to the service staff. The decor was cute but it was so loud you couldn’t really have a conversation. I would say it would be a cute place to go have a drink & enjoy a photo op, but I myself won’t be going again as I don’t like a forced tip under the guise of a “service charge”.

I feel like maybe I’m too old for this place, and to be fair we were there about an hour before closing; but this felt very appealing to, say, the 14-19 year old set. A lot of cute decor and some interesting “trendy” music. The staff were pretty obviously ready to go home but we did see them do two birthday songs which, affinity, looked like fun if you were 14-19. Can’t argue that their drinks were good, though, and full of sugar as advertised. I was even given some extra gummy bears after I said I liked the ones in my drink. Not a bad place, just okay to me.

They were slow. My server never came to the table, and it took an hour to order anything but saved by Karla she was awesome, not our server, but it took on our table anyway. It can be a great place to celebrate but go early.

We went for my birthday and were charged $150 for overcooked and overpriced food, courtesy but extremely slow service, we thought that the food was good based on the presentation and the prices but it was a great disappointment.
