I went here a week ago for a triple birthday party. The ambiance is awesome, however the service and food is not. Not even sure what our waitress’s name is, but I do know she was new apparently. First off, I ordered a blue MF and it took a long time to receive. 15-20 minutes later, she took my order. I wanted grilled salmon, mashed potatoes, collared greens, with cornbread. They were out of mashed potatoes, so unfortunately, I was suggested about getting the Mac and cheese. Between ordering food and receiving it, it took well over 30 minutes. The grilled salmon was good, except it had bones in it and I’ve never had salmon with bones in it before. The Mac and cheese wasn’t rich and creamy at all. When you stick your fork in it, noodles were just flying everywhere and there was no cheese pull. The flavor wasn’t there either. Plus the cheese wasn’t melted completely as well. The greens weren’t that bad, but the hot sauce really saved them. The cornbread was so dry, I had to use the potlicker to soak the cornbread to eat it. By this time, I’ve almost eaten more than half my food, that’s when I finally receive my drink from a long time ago. If I ever came back here again, I’ll eat before I come and probably will order my own drinks from the bar

I can’t rate the food because I didn’t actually eat because I was having the time of my life celebrating my 60th birthday. I heard from others that the food was good however. From the moment I walked in the door I partied and had fun. There were other celebrations happening at the same time and we met on the dance floor for absolute great vibes. I ordered on Door Dash to pickup and it was ready fast and hot. Flavors are southern and restaurant quality. Pork Chops are a hit and greens with fried rice was good to me. I didn’t know it was a lounge, might have to come one day to check it out. Looked pretty packed, I was just happy to get quality food late. Cornbread was southern. Rib tips tasted baked. Would’ve liked grill smoke flavor instead. Value is there so I ordered the next day. Catfish nuggets and fries were very appropriate. This place is worth a 5 star instead of 4. Always packaged with two utensils, sauces on point. Keep up the good business.
