It’s just a little barbecue restaurant at a little airport. We asked them who made the barbecue for them, they just laughed and pointed at the smokehouse 20 yd away. They make it on site: the barbecue, the brisket, all of it. We had a dozen people, and our meals pretty much spanned the entire menu. All of it was most excellent, the price very reasonable, and the servers knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended!
In nice weather, as we had, you can choose to sit outside just a few yards from the tarmac. And right there on that tarmac, near the seating, is where the pilots like to park their planes to be seen. There were some cool planes there, and we had some time to chat to a couple of the pilots, too. All in all it was an excellent experience.

While driving to Norfolk, we stopped here to get my husband some much wanted BBQ. Glad we did! The staff were attentive and seated us right away.
They are Southern Hospitality personified! Drinks were always full, the order was right, and the food was really good. I had a Brisket Wrap. It was delicious and came with perfectly cooked onion rings that crunched just right!
This little airport cafe is truly a gem! Thank you for your hospitality!!

Love coming here when in Suffolk! Drive in or fly in. (Taxi right up to the restaurant.) Seating inside and out. Good brisket and BBQ. Brisket grilled cheese, and BBQ tacos were our favorite. Everyone is super friendly. Added bonus of watching the skydivers land. Definitely recommend stopping here!

This is a hidden little gem with a unique atmosphere where you never know what you’ll see! The BBQ stands on its own… everything is good! Always good. We tend to sit out on the covered patio where your feet from airplanes.. coming and going.. not to mention the myriad parachuting going on. It’s peaceful like a golf course, then engines rev up, and you strain to see what’s landing or taking off…
We ride our bike over for lunch now and again, and it’s always a very cool place for a touch and go! Highly recommend putting it on your list.
When you get there say Hey to Kathy and also Wayne, who’s cheffing up the BBQ!!

Quiet little place with an excellent BBQ sandwich and fresh cut fries (very tasty) and I had perfectly sweetened iced tea to wash it down. Wait staff was very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend stopping by if you in the area.

The food is phenomenal. The price isn’t bad, but expect to spend at least $15-20 per person after taxes and tip (on the conservative side). Still worth a visit if you’ve never been. When events are happening, service times can be longer, but that should be expected. Staff is polite and professional.

Love this place! Super friendly and attentive staff. The pulled pork was good and the fresh cut fries were perfect. It may be a little out of the way but definitely worth the drive. Give them a try!

The staff was nice. Long wait for food but I think there was a big party in another room…but we did see a couple planes and a helicopter. Typical diner style breakfast fare.

First time coming here. I usually do not eat early, but I was meeting some ladies for group ( Bible study). I ordered Belgian waffle with fruit. Waffle was crispy and fruit in season and fresh. The waitress was attentive and friendly. Will be back with my husband for lunch or dinner. Thank you for the pleasant environment and food.
