I came in around 9pm. I had a long day and wanted a sandwich. I came in and the guy working was explaining how he might not have anything that we want since it was the night before Thanksgiving. Which was understandable. That’s not the issue.
He rudely added, “Also, you guys do realize you came in 15 minutes before we close?” I said, “Well, sounds like you’re still open.” He made a snippy comment after that, but I wasn’t listening at that point because I was so mad that he was trying to make us feel bad for ordering food.
He was super rude and unprofessional so I turned around and left. Yes, I gave him what he wanted, but I didn’t care at that point. When I looked at the hours, it says that they close at 10pm.. 45 minutes before they close. Not coming back.

I would have to say 90% of the time, I am happy with this Subway, I order veggie sandwiches through Subway all of the time, and although I’m not unhappy with this particular subway located on fairgrounds road in Bremerton, I’m a bit disappointed.
A few months ago, I discovered this particular Subway has a drive-thru, and I was ecstatic!
I could not believe that all of these years have gone by with me driving the 303 and not knowing that, I know, it isn’t like I discovered the eighth wonder of the world, but It was bound to make my life a little easier sometimes, especially since I eat Subway three, sometimes four times a week, at various locations.
There are pros and cons about this Subway, and the most obvious pro is that you can drive through and never have to get out of your car. The con part is, waiting in line, sometimes for quite a while, and you never get to see your sandwich made, your long gone before you realize they have given you the wrong bread, or put cheese on when you ask for no cheese, or the bread was tough, in fact so tough, you chew and chew and realize that it has taken you longer trying to eat this sandwich than it probably took them to make it, which is what happened yesterday.
The sandwich looked delightful and had almost everything I asked for, minus the Subway herb and garlic oil that I wanted, and the odd textured of the herb and cheese bread, that was a let down; none-the-less I ended up tossing all of my bread to our flying friends, the crows, and seagulls.
Quality control is an important factor in any business, this will not stop me from eating at this Subway in the near future, but I am hoping that when the sandwiches are made people pay little bit more attention to the details, I understand accidents do happen, and I have also heard that sometimes only one person is taking and making the orders, which is not a smart idea especially during lunch hour, but remember, it is impossible for people in the drive thru to scrutinize how their sandwich is made, which then can lead to disappointed customers and mediocre or even bad reviews.
So, will I be back, yes, there has been plenty of times I have had incredible sandwiches from this Subway, and the staff at this Subway have always been pleasant and friendly, no complaints there!

During the lunch hours, the area can get fairly congested with Burger Kings drive through located directly in front of Subways drive through.

The staff at this Subway were amazing! Seemed to be enjoying themselves, visited with customers, engaged with the kids. The food had way better presentation than at any other location (and it’s one of our go-to stops when traveling).

Ordered a sandwich with double meat, they gave me a single slice of roast beef. There was more cheese than there was meat. The girl said she just got rehired, but how hard is it to make a sandwich? If this was a normal subways I could have seen them putting the single sliver of beef and would have said that’s not enough. I guess the drive through model saves them money by screwing over their customers.

Went through the drive through at this location 6/27/25 at around 5 pm. We ordered two BLTs with extra crispy bacon and extra bacon. I told the employee three times, we want extra bacon and to make it extra crispy on both sandwiches. What we got was, without a doubt, the worst BLTs I have ever seen. Our “extra bacon” was two strips of bacon. Not two extra strips. No, there were only two paper thin strips of bacon on each sandwich. To compliment the “extra” bacon, were two tiny slices of tomato that were about the size of fifty cent coins. The lettuce was okay but the bread was as tough as a two dollar steak. (Do they microwave their bread?) I’ve never been particularly impressed with Subway sandwiches in general. But this location has taken their standards to a new low. If you absolutely have to go to this store, go inside so you can keep an eye on the employee while they make your sandwich. Just make sure you have lots of time because they apparently prioritize the drive through. I guess that’s more profitable because they don’t have to use nearly as much product. But if you have that much time, just go down the street to a different store. This place just needs to go away. Whether by design or incompetence, their sandwiches are skimpy and poor quality. Spend your hard earned money somewhere that cares about their product. This place doesn’t.

Why is there only one employee in the fairgrounds Subway at 5pm on a Tuesday? 6/3/25…….there are three cars stacked up waiting to order and the sandwich maker can’t take MY order for 15 mins. I understand wanting a great profit margin but dang…..get that boy some HELP!!!

Literally one time, I would like to have my sandwich how I order it. To be able to “eat fresh, and feel good” about it. Wilted veggies are not fresh. When I ask for more, that means more than a leaf. This subway is by far one of the worst ones I’ve been to. Nice people. I like the sarcasm of one individual. But that should not be apart of customer service that’s doesn’t sell on the disrespect. I won’t be hear again without giving direct guidance of mine. Keeping a clear eye on the FRESH FOOD. Thanks for the mistakes, Subway Employees at this location!

Not impressed with this location, is this one ran by different owners? Last week I ordered at another bremerton location and I was shocked all my stuff was perfect. Ordering dinner didnt make the day any easier with kids that are very strict on food, why is the cheese rolled up in the meat and melted on a cold sandwich. We cant order just cheese so we take the meat off when we get it but was made so we couldnt do that. The bread was wrong on both kids sandwiches. The salad I ordered seemed pretty rediculous this time, it was a mess, salad is chopped meat!!!! If you hate your job them quit!!! We work hard for our money too and to tip you for doing a crappy job is absurd… done with this location 19546 cause it is more than one time and I’m not wasting money and tipping people that dont do their job.
