This is my first ever review. I’m not a very picky eater and that should say something. I always keep my comments to myself but this was just sad. I’ve made way better. I came here and picked up the most basic order. Chicken Lo Mein and an order of Shrimp and Chicken Lo Mein. Something you think would be good. There’s no flavor. Spaghetti noodles is what it taste like. I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you want food that tastes good.

Today was my first time at little panda. And without question I will return. The flavor is great. The price point is fair. And they have tons of options.

Food was okay. Small portions. Lady tried to up charge me $2.50 to put my sauce on the side.
So I just asked for light sauce.
Didn’t get the vegetables described on the menu but whatever I guess…
Typical Chinese takeout…dirty little kitchen, mom and pop, and surprisingly bathroom was open. Wet paper towels in the toilet to dry your hands and soap bottle filled with water

My wife is from Wuhan and we were both encouraged by the mandarin that was spoken by the restaurant workers. The menu looked good but the food was really bland, tasteless. Maybe this is how small town Texans like their Chinese food, but I’m here to tell you, there’s nothing Chinese about it.

Chinese culture worships their food. The food here is a disgrace to their culture and a betrayal to those who expect an actual, “taste of China”. The food wasn’t fresh. The sauce was from a store shelf. The ingredients tasted old. We couldn’t finish our meal and just threw away what we didn’t eat.

Why throw away an opportunity to expose hard working Texans with what Chinese food should taste like? It’s not just crap that you shove in your mouth, it’s an experience that everyone should have. Mouth numbing pepper, spiced dry sausage, beef and pork that falls off the bone… Demand better people!

And, to the owners: you live in a state that knows good food from bad. BBQ ribs, pulled pork, spicy sauce. This is where you start! Make BBQ lamb skewers, use garlic onion in your fried rice with brown eggs and dark brown cooking soy sauce. Make a spicy beef sechwan broth with real sechwan peppers.

Yexas BBQ and authentic Chinese? That’s a combination everyone would drive for!

Stopped in here while passing through. I prefer to support local businesses rather than chain restaurants. Few other diners at 2pm on a Monday.

They have a pretty extensive menu but I ordered sweet and sour chicken lunch special, just to keep things simple.

I tried to be friendly and left a generous tip when ordering. Service was curt. I don’t speak any version of Chinese so there was a little bit of a language barrier to be fair

As you can see in the photo, the food is very basic. No vegetable matter in this dish which most often contains onions, bell peppers and pineapple. The breaded chicken pieces were freshly deep fried (probably from frozen).
The fried rice and egg roll were cold, probably made in a batch long ago.

TLDR: Not a lot of actual cooking occurring here. Can’t recommend. I will try a different local business on my next pass through Sweetwater.

Pork Fried Rice with missing pork. Only a couple of minuscule pork pieces. The rice was dried and tasted old. The beef skewers were bland and dry. Wonton soup was very oily. I’ve never had oily wonton soup before. The other 2 entrees of my companions were just as bad. Almost 50$ of horrible food.

We ordered the pork fried rice. I can’t see any pork. It was so tiny pieces. The food was truly terrible, not fresh at all, and unsanitary. I would never want to come back here again. I’ve never seen a restaurant that serves such tasteless food and skimps on ingredients like this. It’s far too expensive for the quality, and there’s absolutely nothing good about this place

Lady must not have wanted any customers, because she was very short and dismissive. Rice was crunchy. 5 shrimp in my shrimp & broccoli. Pork rice was more of bacon bits and rice. Reused soap thing was dirty/ dingy. A party of 6 we asked for extra plate for each of us and got 3. 5 sodas , 1 water, 3 entrées, steamed dumplings – $50 w/ tip

Stopped in last night on my way home. Ordered to go, I definitely should have checked it before leaving. 2 pounds of noodles and 3 pieces of micro meat. Rude people, tried calling and got yelled at. We definitely will not be back.

Went in to pick up general Sol’s with Fried Rice and a sesame chicken with lomein. 3 As I’m sitting there watching the young son the teenager cook I see that he’s not wearing any gloves and so he goes and he scoops out the sesame chicken into the box but he’s scooping it out with his hands…. Not a spoon mind you with his bare hands. Then after he packed up my stuff I see him scratching his head and then he starts on the next order Again no gloves and he didn’t wash his hands. Then to top it off as I’m grabbing my food to leave the woman the mom is coughing. Absolutely disgusting
