It’s a good subway shop. The people that work there are always friendly. Sometimes they do get a bit busy, what with there being only a total of 5 places to eat in phelan, but still a chill spot to relax an enjoy a bite.

Subway is always a good location to get a quick sub. Unfortunately this location (Maybe others as well) are more frequently experiencing non functioning equipment. It was the soda machine for the longest time, then the ice maker, today it is the oven to toast the bread. Not a good look for the store or brand.

This is an awesome Subway’s! Jesus was very friendly and helpful. The sandwich he made was fantastic! Way better than any Subway’s I’ve had in L.A.. The main thing was the toaster actually worked here. In L.A., the toasted bread always comes out warmed but chewy and gets soggy fast from the steam while in the wrapper. But at the Phelan location it came out crispy like a baguette and didn’t get soggy at all after sitting in the wrapper for an hour. Amazing! Great eats! Good job guys!

This place needs a new owner, new management, and new employees. There was only 1 option for real bread, Wheat, the person making our food wasn’t paying attention and we had to tell him 3 times what we wanted, I asked for a cup of ranch on the side for my protein bowl and got a nasty packet of fat free ranch, they didn’t have forks, and the soda was flat, they had 2 selections of chips and didn’t have the drinks they use to. Definitely will not be returning here

Ice/soda machine has been out of order/not working properly since June 2022, I mean…REALLY??? If you can’t fix it, buy a new one!!! Too many employees working on 1 small order, when more customers are waiting…or working on on line orders while customers are waiting at counter…

They did a good job. My subs were made to a satisfactory degree. As a former employee of subway I must criticize the males bread cutting. Don’t press down too hard on that delish herbs and cheese bread. I want that bread fluffy son.

Walked right before they closed 7:59pm. The door was still unlocked and neon open sign still on. There was only 2 workers inside talking by the cash register (looked like one of them was training the other) I walked to start of the line and was ready to request my order starting with the bread ofcourse. The lady looked at her watch and said “it’s 8pm the store is closed” even though I was already inside and their door still unlocked and open sign still on. I thought she was joking because I looked at the food supplies and they were all still out and nothing put away. Yet they didn’t move and said “sorry” and went back to what they were doing. So I walked out and the lady followed by turning off the open neon sign and locking the door. I’m not mad just kinda weirded out that a business wouldn’t accept a customer 1 min before closing. So I rate this subway 1 star. Hope it was worth the extra 5 mins it would have taken them to make my sandwich, to go home earlier.
