Open early. We got the about 1030 and there were plenty of people here before us for breakfast pho. Soups are amazing, everything fresh. Service was spectacular and fast. Tons of noodles and protein. Egg rolls are crispy and delicious. Fish sauce on the table which I love. A short walk from the street car and the city market, it’s worth the walk!

We had a really good time at the establishment. We were visiting from St. Louis so we drove a pretty country mile. I felt like, because we are people of color, the air deflated the room when we walked in, but the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Heck they were the only ones not phased by our presence. Any ways, the food was amazing. An English speaking representative came out of the kitchen to answer our questions and to help us navigate the menu. The appetizers were amazing and the PHO was so flavorful and abundant.

Got the beef pho and the combination pho. The pho was super delicious. It was the perfect amount of sweet and the added chili oil made it perfectly spicy to taste. The staff was nice and attentive. Overall what I tried was really delicious and very affordable. I will definitely recommend this place and will definitely be coming back to try more items on their menu whenever I’m back in town.

Friendly service, good food. My fresh roll was premade so the rice paper was extra gooey but the flavor was still there. Just made them a bit chewier. Had pho and a rice noodle bowl. So much left overs!

This place was really good. Really enjoyed the Vietnamese spring rolls and all the Pho. The portions are absolutely huge, and I can probably get like 3 meals out of it.

I ordered carryout and waited less than 5 minutes. It was piping hot & delicious when I got home. 10/10. I will be back!

Went here for lunch on a Sunday. Got seated immediately as there were a few tables open. Ordered the Pho Dac Biet and Goi Cuon. The spring rolls came first served with peanut sauce. The rice paper was a bit hard and chewy which was a disappointment because it tasted good especially with the sauce. The Pho though was delicious – specifically the broth and the portion size was generous. Service was very fast, I think I waited only 10mins and everything was on the table already.

Pho Lan is my go-to spot for authentic Vietnamese food in Kansas City. The broth is incredibly flavorful and clear, showing the quality and care put into the cooking. Everything felt fresh, from the herbs to the meat. The service was fast and the staff was very friendly. It is a perfect place for a warm, satisfying meal.
