I had a very frustrating experience with this location.
I accidentally placed my order at this store (1230 W Imperial Hwy, La Habra) instead of the Brea location since both are on Imperial Highway. It was an honest mistake made through the app, and unfortunately there is no cancellation option available.
When I realized the error, I called the store multiple times (over 5 times) before someone finally answered. I politely explained that I placed the order at the wrong location and asked if it could be canceled since I was on my way to work and La Habra is in the opposite direction for me.
The employee simply said, “It’s ready, come get it,” and when I tried to explain again, he hung up on me mid-sentence.
Mistakes happen. I understand that. But the lack of basic customer service and the disrespect of hanging up on a customer is unacceptable. Very disappointed with how this was handled.

Almost Perfect
I went in and asked for a breakfast sandwich this was near closing time the lady told me that they had the food for the breakfast sandwich but she would have to charge me per item because it was after breakfast so for a egg and bacon sandwich, 6-inch, she wanted to charge me $16 no other sandwich in that store cost $16 not even with extra meat for the 6 inch that’s crazy. Tell me you’re not serving breakfast don’t tell me you’re going to charge me $16 for a 6-in sandwich

I’m not sure if it’s because of the pandemic so they can’t hire good workers but the past couple times I’ve gone the same girl has messed up my order. I have to constantly tell this one worker not to put too much condiments even after I said I only want a little bit. I did a pick up order today because I was in a hurry, and even though my order said less mustard and less jalapenos it’s dowsed in mustard and a handful of jalapenos are on it. Plus it’s missing the avocado slides I paid for. I’ve had the same worker before who made this sandwich, and also don’t like the attitude I’ve gotten from her. I get it that it’s not the most glamorous job but at least try to do your best. Last time when the girl was soooo slow making my sandwich I asked her politely if she can hurry since going to be late for my appointment, she told me next time to use the app instead of apologizing. She is THE slowest moving Subway worker I’ve ever encountered. I’ll be going to another location just so I don’t have to deal with this again.

I went this location to take out before and I was sitting inside with my friend today. To wash my hands, I went to the restroom which is extremely dirty and took my appetite away. The restroom condition is not acceptable! So filthy. Seems like they haven’t cleaned the restroom for a while. After I saw the restroom, I couldn’t trust the level of hygiene of the food prep so really couldn’t eat. I used to like Subway sandwiches but the experience today changed my taste. Too bad!

THIS LOCATION DOES NOT GIVE US ENOUGH VEGETABLES FOR WHAT WE PAY. OUR SANDWICH WAS BASICALLY FLAT.
They renovated the place not long ago, so it is clean and well maintained. When we ordered sandwiches we asked for a variety of vegetables but she put so little that when I saw my sandwich it was almost flat ♀️We went there bc we had the same menu before from other locations, and it was so good with all the veggies. How crunchy it was but when we got the same sandwich at this location it was so disappointing.
By the way, the boy who works there was doing what we asked for and giving us a hearty amount of vegetables in one of the sandwiches, but the old lady who was making our other sandwich tried to save their veggies by giving us the smallest portions she could?

The nice young lady that opened on Sunday deserves a raise. She was so thoughtful and helped me with what I needed. The place was also very clean and organized.

So tired of this subway.
1. The veggies never taste fresh. The tomatoes are always mostly green.
2. The bread is so crummy it always makes a mess and tastes like carboard. Not sure why the bread is different from other subways. I don’t have this problem at other places.
3. The service is slow…very slow. I always witness people walking out due to the wait, I’ve done this myself as well.
The straw that broke the camela back for me was today when I went in after having placed an online order 2hr 30mins ahead of schedule for a gathering I had elsewhere. The sub wasn’t ready claiming “she was too busy”. I asked her to cancel my order and went to another subway. I’m not coming back to this again, I’m just done here. Today was my attempt at giving them another chance; I should have known better.
The only reason I don’t give them a 1 star is because at least the place is clean.
