Great authentic Korean restaurant that specializes in soft tofu soup/stew. There are many different types of tofu soups to choose from as well as combination dishes. Kalbi is well marinated and tender. Fish dishes are fantastic as well. They cook each rice bowl separately and come with the nice crusted bottom.
Family favorite whenever visiting Dallas area.

Traditional Korean fare can be readily found in this area – and Cho Dang is a solid option for lunch/dinner. You know the food has got to be good if they’ve gone the distance without the need of a beer/wine license.
In my opinion – Cho Dang makes the best stews in the area (tofu, beef, and galbi). Other mains are middle of the road. Would not recommend the donkatsu. Service is quick and efficient.

Went here for lunch on a cold day. My husband was craving soondubu. I got the Galbitang. They have probably the best quality of food in the area. I was so happy. Service was great and they’re very welcoming. Definitely coming back.

We had the beef bulgolgi hot stone bowl bibimbap and seafood tofu soup. Great portions. Beef bulgolgi had a lot of meat and tasted good. Seafood tofu soup was good too. The bonchon was decent. They also served hot tea. We enjoyed the food but nothing was spectacular.

The food here is truly delicious. I was especially impressed by the spicy-marinated crab, seafood tofu soup, and spicy grilled pork. The seasoning was well-balanced, the seafood was fresh, and the staff were friendly. The restaurant is spacious, with private rooms available for large groups. Prices are reasonable, and I’ll definitely be coming back regularly.

Been a regular customer since February 2024. We come here almost every Friday and there was not a single time when the food was bad. 10/10 highly recommend.

We went for breakfast and this place did not disappoint. It was easily the best meal on my last trip to the area. I had the kimchi tofu soup with pork, spicy level and it was so delicious. I ate the entire bowl! I can’t wait to go back. The one thing I didn’t get a photo of was the seafood pancake and it was really delicious.
