I wanted something fresh, so searched for a subway, drove 20 miles out of my way, get there 20 minutes before advertised closing time of 10:00 p.m., and the employee says they’re closed. I tell him what the hours are listed and he says “well I have places to be…it’s Saturday night.”

I was heading back to Albuquerque after visiting mother in law in Silver City nursing home on March 29, 2025. My husband and I were hungry. I was going to get a sub at the Subway as well as husband. It was 9:32p. However the gentleman behind the counter was messing around on his phone while all the fixings were still in the case, and I just got the counter when he said that he had to be somewhere at 10p so they are closed. I was perturbed and asked myself if he truly has to be somewhere at 10 then why is he playing around on his cellphone and why is nothing put away. I left the Circle K still hungry, fed-up, and mad. I worked fast-food before and never turn away people over an excuse. I heard him telling two other potential customers the same thing within 8 minutes yet the whole 8 minutes he was on cellphone. All three of us told him sign says open until 10 yet he stood his ground how he had to be somewhere at 10 yet standing around lazily on cellphone which told me he was lying and didn’t want to work

When did you mean closing hours or posted and I was there approximately 2 hours before closing and the two gentlemen behind the counter were too busy cleaning to take my order or help out came back the next day a different gentleman was very helpful had some glasses I don’t know his name but very helpful and it was the same time evening took care of my order and whose department service into the two gentlemen that work tonight previously so I was thinking of two guys that are not paying attention to colding hours and being too lazy to take care of the customers who pay the check

Didn’t even let them finish my sandwich. Didn’t wash his hands before putting gloves on. The worker is eating bread while and talking (which ew I don’t want your food particles on my sandwich) while making my sandwich. And he didn’t change his gloves after taking bites of bread. This isn’t proper food handling and quite frankly pretty disgusting. Couldn’t even let him finish cutting the bread before I walked away. 0/10

This particular Subway used to be so much better. The two women who were supposed to be working were ignoring customers! One lady walked by pushing a cart while intentionally ignoring people waiting in line. It was obvious they didn’t really want to work. I even saw people sitting down waiting and hoping someone would show up at the counter. Customer service is definitely lacking here. At least the cashiers in the store itself are friendly.

The sights and smells that come out of this subway are more then amazing. As I approached the building that this subway quietly resides in I was greeted by a bountiful array of crisp vegetables, cold cut meats, decedent cheeses and grainy breads. And I went up the counter I was greeted by a crisp smile and and a friendly greeting.
Ordering couldn’t have been simpler and easier as they asked what I wanted and how I wanted it to be prepared. The food had a gentle craft to it and was prepared by careful hands. The sandwich it self was a symphony of tastes and smells. The attention to craft and detail makes this worth 4.95. Gladly will be returning in the near travels. Truly a diamond in the rough and a nice stop on such a brisk day. Lovely

I ordered a foot long Steak sandwich, and the meat had the most terrible taste. After 2 bites I threw my half out, and the wife threw her half out after 1 bite. So much food is becoming Bioengineered-meaning man grown meat in a lab. My guess subway is buying it. Beware. Start checking your food ingredients.

I miss Pic Quik, and when subway was actually open 24/7. The staff is still great, but the are never open past 8 or 9 even though the Circle K website says it is open.
