Honestly, this Subway is a hilarious little situation. I’m sure the directional signage is not up to brand code as the only actual “Subway” sign is on a non-main side of the building, covered by a tree. The tall monument sign you’re supposed to see from the road is missing any billboard material entirely LOL…
The mystery of this Subway location lends itself to a Cohn brothers movie. Pulling in, you’ll likely encounter a jaded sandwich artist taking a smoke break out back, while patrolling customer traffic. I was hesitant. The sandwich-ordering process from said individual was also endearingly gruff, but gotta say… I haven’t seen a better curtained and folded arrangement of Turkey layer and tomato slices in my LIFE. Also, the bathrooms were super clean and spacious! Additional respect for any establishment with a good sanctuary for one’s biological needs.
Despite the initial impression of this desolate and seemingly-sinister Subway, it exceeded expectations entirely. Eat fresh and eat fearlessly!

There’s no reason to mute the phone when I’m calling you, not only did you not pick up the phone, you also made my order wrong. I called twice, each for two minutes and nobody picked up. I won’t be returning, Oct 17 at 8:28. I understand it was a late call, but you go to work to work not to pick and choose what you do. If you want Subway in Mountain Home, go to any other one.

The lady with the bad teeth chewed me out for asking for 3 sandwiches in the drive thru saying that’s just too many (1 sandwich was a simple 6in with 2 ingredients for my toddler). Then chews me out for listing off my ingredients too fast saying “this isn’t McDonald’s with all the fancy computers, we have to write our orders down and I don’t know about you, but I can’t write fast”. She continues to lecture me on the difference between Subway and McDonald’s. She was on one because she just kept going. We pulled up smiling, with a good attitude but this women was clearly overwhelmed by her job and decided to take it out on us. Her attitude left such an impression that I’ll be avoiding all Subways from now on because of her. I’d rather eat the toxic food at McDonald’s than deal with the toxic attitudes of disgruntled employees.

Ordered one of the new fit sandwiches was told it didnt come with cheese because it was a healthy sandwich I asked if I could add cheese and told yes but then was told it made the sandwich less healthy. Never was asked if I wanted a footlong or 6in they just made the 6in. Added my veggies and went to the window to pay and was told by the young guy working that his manager told him that the fit sandwiches can not have cheese and your not allowed to add cheese. I said ok have ordered one before and was never told I couldn’t put cheese on. He said its a healthy sandwich and adding cheese makes it unhealthy. I got my sandwich and left the drive through. Now to the sandwich 1 turkey slice and 1 ham slice on flat bread with 1 peice of cheese hardly any lettuce and onions. Will never go back to this subway again.

Mean, rude, condescending and belittled us. I let Julua know that I didn’t appreciate the way she was talking to us and treating us. My GF ordered a 6″, so Julia (the manager) started making a 12″. No worries. But keep being mea, rude and condescending while serving a customer? She was rude and mean to both of us. I can tolerate ignorance myself, but to hear her treat my GF that way? Nope!
Julia threw my GFs sandwich away. So GF tried to get the other employee to make her a sandwich, because she really wanted one. Nope. “That’s my mom and I can’t.”
Julia should never be in customer service. She doesn’t have the demeanor for it. She should be a debt collector at best. Her son? Lol. Um, he’s still waiting for them to drop.
We continued on to Jerome and bought my GF’s sandwich.
Hm, I wonder how long MH location will last being managed that way?

Ordered the new nachos and that was the biggest joke. If you are going to serve that little of food maybe make the containers smaller as well. I had no meat and asked for Ranch instead of the other sauce and some extra veggies and was yelled at, there is no substitutes. So rude. What a joke

I got a salad and the lady didn’t chop up the vegetables so I just had full tomato and cucumber in the salad. I went in and asked if she could chop it and she said she can’t take it back. I worked for subway for 6 years so unless something has changed you should have salad chopping bowls available. She didn’t offer to remake it or anything so I just left.
They also don’t have gluten free bread :c
