The Subway was exceptionally clean. Shockingly, clean actually. The lady there was so friendly, and kind. We actually had a good morning chat. Love seeing this generosity in people, especially being a driver in travels. My husband and I love meeting the people out here, and she was one to remeber.

On a recent road trip, while stopping to take a break from driving, my current side chick and I spotted a Subway inside the Loves Truck Stop in Luling, TX, near the exit ramp, across from Buccee’s. Suddenly, I began having thoughts of watching deli meat, fresh vegetables and cheese being artistically placed on a footlong sub sandwich. Seeing the Subway logo from the exit ramp was very comforting, and the clean outside appearance of the building seemed to be inviting us in for a spectacular meal. Upon entering, we were greeted by friendly, welcoming and attentive waitstaff with smiles on all their faces. We decided to share a footlong tuna sandwich garnished with spinach, bell pepper, onion, tomatoes, provolone cheese, oil and vinegar, salt, pepper, parmesian cheese and oregano. The sandwich was crafted beautifully and was absolutely delicious. We plan on stopping here again to try the rotisserie chicken sandwich, on our way back home. This location is open for making sandwiches 24 hours and they accept coupons. Best of all there is a clean, well maintained, fenced dog park behind the store. There are also tables available to sit, eat, drink, and enjoy watching the dog have fun in the park.

Most well organized subway i’ve ever been to. Allanah was helping me with my order, by far some of the best service I’ve ever received anywhere. And that says a lot coming from someone who usually complains. Great job!!!!

Came for a steak sandwich today and found a bone fragment or some type of bone piece in my sandwich. I’m just glad I had it and not my son because this could’ve been swallowed or lodged in someone’s throat or some kids bad day at a subway. They ha be to be more careful. Place was clean and service was amazing but that piece is dangerous to any elderly or child.

The food was fine, it always is. But the sandwich artist today-named Jess is always incredibly rude and always acts like she is pissed off.

All we got was a pizza, she was slamming things everywhere rolled her eyes at us and huffed and puffed the entire interaction.

We order from here fairly often, and when we deal with her she is always in a god awful almost aggressive state.

When I see that she is working I almost don’t even want to order anything from Subway (and I have not ordered from there because she was working before)

She creates a hostile environment with her attitude-ordering when she’s there makes me anxious, because she acts like you wanting food is a serious inconvenience.

This Review is based solely on my experience and personal opinion.

We stopped by this Subway three times in the last month and the last time we went was on a Monday night, 10/4/21.

It seems to me that this specific Subway restaurant is managed by the daily workers rather than by the Subway’s managers or management.
Here the shift workers decide when the restaurant opens and when it closes, total anarchy.
We stopped by this Subway restaurant 3 times, and believe it or not, all three times it was closed, and all the times the workers would tell us “there is not enough personnel so we have to close early or open later”.

First time: we stopped by on a Friday morning, it was 10 am sharp and they were closed. We asked one of the guys working there (kind of short, wearing glasses) “are you guys closed? and he goes,.. yes sir, we will open at 10:30 as we are short on personnel today”.

Second time: We stopped by on a Saturday night at 8:45pm…. they were putting away all the ingredients at an incredible speed… when I asked the guy if they were already closed he goes “yes sir, now we close at 9pm as we are short on personnel”…

Third Time: We stopped by on a Monday night at 8:45 Pm…. they had put everything away and they were already cleaning… there were two guys behind the counter, but as soon as I got closer they run off to the kitchen, trying to avoid me. I’ve been waiting there for 15 minutes and at 9pm sharp one of them came out again and I asked him if they were closed and the answer was????
Worker: ” Yes Sir, we are already closed”
Me: “Shouldn’t you guys close at 10pm?”
Worker: “yes Sir, but now we close at 10pm as we are short on personnel”
Me: “but online it says you guys open at 10am and close at 10pm everyday?!?! am I right?”
Worker: “No Sir, that is incorrect, Now we close at 9pm every day as we are short on personnel”.

This is literally pure anarchy and self-management.

I respect people and I understand problems and bad days, but in this case I think that Management should be aware of what is happening at that restaurant as this is a bad pattern.

All the photos have been taken at 9pm sharp… They were closed and already cleaning…

Online their store time table says 10am-10pm EVERY DAY!
That IS FALSE!!!
THEY OPEN AT 10:30am and CLOSE AT 8:45PM.

This location is always out of items, and they don’t offer common ingredients such as black olives, and banana peppers. They try to claim it on corporate not allowing them to carry those items but I don’t believe that. I’ve left reviews and messages with the corporate offices as well. It’s false advertisement and not fair to the customers to not offer everything on the menu, I can understand occasionally running out of items, but to blatantly not carry them is disgraceful.
