I have frequented Sachse Subway on 5250 Texas Hwy. 78 often. Today I ordered 2 footlong Tuna on flatbread. There were two Hispanic ladies that were not very welcoming like other employees have been. When I went to pay, I presented a gift certificate I printed from my credit card rewards, I was told they do NOT accept printed coupons.
This was NOT a coupon, it was a gift certificate!! Both ladies protested accepting my gift certificate…
I went ahead and paid for my order, but I should have declined paying and walk out and go to another Subway location that WILL accept my gift certificate.
As consumers we have many options to choose from.
BEWARE of this location in Sachse-
I recommend going elsewhere-
Where staff are welcoming and appreciate ALL customers business/purchase.

Made both my online sandwich orders incorrect. Went back in to have it corrected and the boy who was working was mad that he had to redo his own error. Was throwing stuff around, didnt even bother having him fix the other one. Such horrible customer service. With all these terrible reviews, store owner should do better and hire better people. Will shut down eventually when you’ve lost all your customers.

The food is fine. I’ve never had poor quality food but the customer service is HORRIBLE! They could not care less about the customer experience and act like you’re an annoying inconvenience. I’ve given so many chances but I’m about to drive to a further location just to stop supporting this location.

Ordered foot long sandwich with bread: Hearty Multigrain (400cal) but received bread: Italian herbs and cheese (500cal). Didn’t understand why I didn’t receive what I ordered.

I typically only post 5 star reviews but after my encounter with a young man whose 1st initial is “A.” I was seriously close giving 1 star. That would not have been fair to Maria because she was wonderful and deserves 5 stars. She is the only reason I am giving 3 stars rather than 1.
“A” was extremely rude when I went to pick up our dinner. I told him that we had placed an order for pickup online and I still needed the bag of chips and a Happy Gilmore cup. He handed me the bag and rudely said, “We are not giving you what you didn’t order” and walked away.
Maria took a moment to actually look at the receipt and saw that we had indeed ordered those items. She was very sweet and helpful and got me a cup and the chips. She has been at this location a long time and has always been great to interact with.
However, the dirty look and eye roll that followed from “A” were not necessary. I asked him if I could speak to him for a moment at the side to show him the receipt. I figured maybe he was new and needed to know where to look next time but he said, “No, I’m busy, I dont care.”
Alright then. That’s sad. Customers are what keep businesses going.
I run a store in the same shopping center and would be mortified if my assistant spoke to one of our customers that way.
– I edited right after posting to remove the young man’s name. He just needs training and an attitude adjustment.

Super tiny sandwiches with almost not meat in them. Our tuna footling just had a smear of tuna very subpar. Customer service does not respond to our feedback.

I ordered using the app. The sandwiches were great but were missing the bacon and cheese. Hopefully I’ll have better luck next time.

I went into the store to redeem a reward that was in my app. I was having issues and asked the employee for help. He told me in a very unfriendly way that I need to do it in the app. I wasn’t too happy with his attitude towards me but I went back to my app and continued trying to order my reward. For whatever reason the app was not working so I asked the employee again. He again told me in an unfriendly manner that I need to do it and he can’t help me. Meanwhile, there were no customers in the store to take up his time so he could have easily spent some time with me. I could understand if they were busy. Anyway, I just left the store in disgust. Apparently they didn’t want my business.

At around 11:30 AM after my early morning shift servicing my own customers, I thought I’d stop by for lunch and pick up some sandwiches for my disabled mother and I. This is the worst interaction I have had at a subway in my entire life, and I have lived in the area for over 20 years now.

When I walked in the store someone was just leaving with their pickup order, and it was just me and the Hispanic employee with a lazy-eye alone in the store for several minutes. For the majority of this interaction actually.

I ordered two footlongs and said I wanted both the breads to be Italian herb, it’s important that I missed the cheese part because apparently if you don’t say ‘cheese’ you just get plain Italian bread. Anyway, the employee, whose named I believe starts with an ‘S’, began putting meatballs on the plain Italian and I told him I ordered the Italian herb. HE told ME, that I had only said Italian, I corrected him and told him I said ‘Italian herb’. He argued with me for several minutes over what bread type I said. And then, he argued with me more because “well I already put the meatballs on this bread”, OK? Fix your mistake please??? Fed up and overstimulated, I said something pretty nasty. Some may consider it a threat under the current administration. My father himself is permanently barred so…anyway the point is it shut him up, and he corrected his mistake, especially so when other customers began arriving.

I am appalled and disgusted by the way I was treated (And surprised by what I said cuz damn). If I had so shamelessly argued with, and disrespected my customers like that, I would have been fired.
