There was also an issue with the Footlong Sub supposed to be free through the app, but it didn’t ring up correctly in time. He handled the situation honestly and professionally, made sure I received the appropriate discount, and explained that I would be able to get it free through the app next time. His transparency and willingness to help made a big difference and showed how much he values customers.
I’ve honestly never had a Subway employee treat me this well before. His level of customer service was exceptional, and he went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Although I don’t know his name, he was working at this location at this specific time and day, and he absolutely deserves recognition.
In my opinion, he has the qualities of a strong leader and would make an excellent manager. Employees like him elevate the entire store experience. Thank you for having someone so dedicated on your team. I will definitely return and continue supporting this location if you hire and promote people like him.
My wife order two sandwiches, two cookies and one bag of chips for Pick-up; When I went to pick up the food there were no chips; I asked “Did we order chips”? Store clerk answered “no just the cookies” even though the receipt was facing him taped to the bag. I could not see the receipt. So I paid for a bag of chips.
I did not see the receipt until I got home and saw that if clearly listed the chips.
I thought no biggie I will just call and get them to refund the chips. I called several time no answer.
So I drove to the store and asked why they did not answer the phone. They said it was disconnected. They refunded the chips, but I was expecting more. Something like a free meal on them so I would come back. At this point I am not sure I will every visit this Subway again.
They need to get there phone reconnected and answer it to address issues like this of take the phone number off the receipt and internet.
They should have in place programs to incentivize unhappy customers to return and train their staff in customer service.
I’ve never had such a frustrating experience at any restaurant, but the Subway at this particular location takes the cake. The person behind the counter was beyond rude, making it clear she hated her job. She didn’t speak a word of English, which made it impossible to communicate. I even resorted to using Google Translate to try and get my order across, but she flat-out refused to listen or cooperate.
It was an incredibly frustrating encounter that ended with me walking out in utter disbelief. I’ve never encountered anyone who seemed to despise their work as much as this person did, and it really makes me concerned that someone with such a negative attitude is handling people’s food. I can only hope she isn’t letting her frustration lead to poor hygiene practices, but based on how she treated me, I have serious doubts.
What makes this worse is that Subway should employ staff who can at least speak basic English. It’s essential for communication, especially in a customer service role, and this failure just added to the overall terrible experience.
I left feeling disappointed, frustrated, and like my business didn’t matter at all. I definitely won’t be returning to this location, and I sincerely hope Subway addresses the serious customer service issues here.
