I get lunch from these guys everyday. I get a salad or a wrap. Well today I went to pay with my debit card and I didn’t have quite enough, I went to go grab my husbands card from the car, but the owner stopped me and just gave me my salad and chips. Update 2025: Great place for a quick sammich, LOVE their ice and that they have a crisp tasting Dr Pepper.
2023: Subway in Linn is my go to place for lunch. But beware there is one young lady who has little fits if you want your sandwich made different than what the menu says it has on it. Example I ordered a #15 turkey Titan foot long sandwich a few minutes ago, I wanted 1/2 extra meat added with shredded cheese and toasted. She had her a little fit slinging meat everywhere in other tins of food, stomping around, then her attitude in her voice when talking,you could tell I made her mad. She huffly stated to me that we don’t put extra meat on sandwiches. When I explained I have ordered the same sandwiches for the past 3 monthsin this store made by other employees..she just looked at me, but made it.
When I asked her name she started “we aren’t allowed to give people their name”
From now on if I see that young lady in the store I will be going elsewhere for my food

I have been going to this restaurant since circa 2004 when I was in high school. Lots of good memories connected to this place (no I’ve never worked there), the community wouldn’t be the same without it. In 18 years I’ve never had any employee ever be unkind or rude to me whether I ordered to go or dined-in. I have seen plenty of rude customers who should have practiced patience with the staff who are mostly high school and college students, or near that age, most of them it is probably their first job. Like any restaurant that uses perishable and raw vegetables, sometimes things like the lettuce isn’t the freshest or sometimes the food shipments they receive aren’t always the best quality but that’s not the fault of employees fulfilling the orders, not to mention the current economy and product shortages. Some people complain about them running out of bread, but the staff can’t predict exactly how much bread to bake every day, and sometimes they have to close early when they don’t have enough food items to stay open for their usual hours of operation. I’d rather they not prepare enough and close early than prepare too much and have to throw it away. Needless to say, I always recommend this place, and who knows you might even be lucky enough to be served by the Subway “Karate Kid” (iykyk)

Three times now I’ve ordered from this place threw the app and they have IGNORED the special instructions. They are not hard and they are clearly printed on the receipt. Once I even typed it in all caps to make it more noticeable. They still ignored them. They don’t have a problem when I go in and order this way in person so what’s the deal?

Recently ate here. The cookies were better than in jeff city ones and it was very very clean and nice. Atmosphere was great. Only issue with them is when the town runs fundraisers for autism awareness this place refuses to participate.

I have had problems with this Subway store this year,but tonight was a event. A different story, I ordered online For a 7 o’clock pickup. Young lady came out to talk to me and said that the bread had just came out of the oven it was too hot to make a sandwich and then if you posted it it would turn to much You have to realize And I couldn’t get my money back No I told her I would wait then she informs me the cookies that I ordered they were none available I asked her if she had the chocolate chip she said yes and I said I’ll take all chocolate chip. They’re a young man right out of the food except for the cookies and he informed me they didn’t have the choices that I made. When I look through the window I see 3 employees at 7:03 PM In the store in addition I’ve seen 6 people walk in to the store. When I had contact with the young lady she made a snide remarkThat maybe I should eat earlier especially on a Friday. I asked her when did the store close and she informed me 9 o’clock so I informed her there was 2 hours of business to still go and maybe shouldn’t have some food Prepared After they’re so call rush but then I look into their lobby This is 7 PM and There’s young man Placing chairs up on the table and closing the lobby now I have worked restaurants a lot most businesses a 1/2 an hour before you close you start working in your dining room I just find the behavior Of these 3 employees Unsatisfactory!
Aren’t the best at running store.
Suggestion More training on customer service , prep items thru out shift instead just running out,maybe the store could use some nightly supervision.
