My husband and I came in about 6:30 pm. 2 customers eating and 2 customers ordering in front of us so they weren’t that busy. We ordered the get fit chicken avacado 6″ sandwich. That particular sandwich is 50% more meat. My husband’s on the right was clearly what was advertised. Mine on the left clearly was not. Only half the length of the bread had meat on it. I reminded the woman the sandwich is supposed to have 50% more meat not 50% less meat. The next employee adding the veggies I had to remind him they are chicken AVACADO sandwich could you please add the avacado 1st. When paying $25 for 2 6″ subs, 2 bags of chips and 2 waters I think giving a customer what is offered on the menu is not unreasonable

This subway in sterling, and the subway in prophetstown, are the only ones who make my sandwiches perfect. I appreciate the employees here at 1901 Locust Street. Sandwiches are always perfect and always on time (even done early most times!). Give your employees an incentive for great work and customer service!

Went through the drive thru, I ordered a tuna with less mustard and the sandwich was horribly assembled;mustard spilling out, vegetables thrown on/falling out. I keep coming back because this is the closest one to my job that has soup but this is not worth it at this point. The Subway in Rock Falls is much better service and much better at being able to assemble a simple sandwich.

They arbitrarily accept the coupons that come in the local mail. Ordered 2 foot longs only because of the coupon that came in the mail. Neither was on the coupon’s exception list. Informed at register owner added additional exceptions. My $12.99 turned into an unplanned $22.88 order.

They were out of unsweetened tea and refused to make more, the staff was in the back giggling while I stood at the counter for almost 5 minutes. They need to be told to always have 1 person up front for customers.

I don’t know who’s been working on early Sunday afternoons lately but they’re doing a horrible job. I always get the same sandwich and usually it’s really good but lately my sandwich isn’t being toasted when that’s what I selected in drive thru. I also get mayo and chipotle and there’s barely any sauce and no mayo the past few times. Just in general really poorly put together compared to when I used to come here.

I absolutely love the hospitality and customer service of this Subway. Everyone is patient and attentive, and the front is as clean as you can imagine and ever want. If you are a “Subway Rewards” card holder, be aware this location does not even know about the Rewards Points system nor how to do them. Yes, the receipt does say rewards balance but I do believe that is coding from corporate not local. That isn’t too much of a concern given how wonderful this store is run though. Stop on by if you are passing though!
