I ordered footlong sandwich on 5

The owner decided not to accept coupons so you can never get any deals here. They also were probably instructed to skimp out on portioning because I have to ask them to add a proper amount for almost everything. Glad I started going to a different store. The one in Deerfield is better.

$6.99 meal of the day is $6.99 right? Then there’s a sign in every single Subway that says “+$3 for footlong”, I get charged $14+ and the lady working is just completely oblivious to their own deals as I said it’s on your sign. Didn’t fight it further as she was totally arrogant. Hope this place gets shut down, don’t run a franchise and try to penny pinch out of your own deals

Are you a woman who hasn’t been treated like a 2nd class citizen in a while and feel the need to be put down and argued with? THIS is the place to be! Times are tough, so they have to short change their customers and seem to LOVE to yell at women even when the customer is ACTUALLY in the right.
The sandwich making? Great place to over pay for bread. If you’re on a diet, you’re in luck! The toppings are strewn about as if they count 5 slices of olives, 2 shreds of lettuce and MAYBE the correct amount of meat. Again, if you’re on one of them “new year, new me” phases, definitely go here. You won’t get half of what you paid for, AND be motivated by the insolent woman hating shop owner who seems to lack common decency or respect.
Go drink pond water, you’ll be happier with the runs for 3 days, than going to this place.

Go anywhere else. They rip you off here, especially if you order online. The male employee is incredibly RUDE and dishonest. They barely give you any toppings – vegetables or meat. There’s also no soap in the bathroom. Save yourself the disappointment.

Stopped during lunch today at the Subway on Second Street in Highland Park. Planned to order two chicken footlongs for $13.99 using a current Subway coupon and was told by the owner I couldn’t use it for chicken sandwiches! The regular price for two chicken footlongs is $30!!
I’ve used Subway coupons for years, even at this store, and have never had a coupon denied. So be warned, do not go to this Subway store if you plan to use a Subway coupon for a chicken sandwich!

Guy was nice at first, but when it was time to build my sandwich he was too busy talking out loud in his language to his co worker buddy, felt like an outsider, and pretty much ignored me, never ask me if there was anything else …just rushed me right through the process,he pretty much assumed I was done adding a few things. I felt like I had to twist his arm to get a few toppings

Today is May 19 and at 7:30 pm I stopped by to pickup 2 online orders. It was only one person on duty and he was not wearing mask which is a direct violation of village order for public places. Upon arrival home we found that both orders (4 one foot long subways) were messed up. One subway had a wrong type of bread. Another one had missing bacon ($1.50 extra), another one had ingredients missing and the last one had wrong ingredient. Also, we submitted a coupon for a free cookie and guess what? There were no cookie in the bag! So I called guy and he told me that they are out of bacon, Italian herbs bread and some ingredients and he substituted missing toppings with something else. I told him that I’m coming back for free cookie and cache difference for a bacon. When I arrived the guy lied to me that bacon is only $1 even if online shows $1.50. Then he took a dollar from THE DONATION BOX and handled it to me. So he just stole this dollar! People! Be aware — your donations do not go to where it suppose to go. It goes directly to his pocket! He was very rude and tried to yell on me “I told you that we do not have …” Instead of calling us and telling about missing ingredients and asking what to do with our orders he just replaced what was not in a store with something he decide to use. Very unprofessional! What if we wanted to cancel these orders? He had no rights to make such decisions!, Terrible service, rude behavior. We never order from this location again. Be aware!!

The place is clean and well stocked and the food was fresh, by sight and taste as well.
The cashier was very nice, she greeted all of her customers and with such a friendly smile. She was attentive and helpful as well. I was happy I chose them today .
