Lethal angel
A few days late but that’s me and Always in a hurry and poor guy working said it was only his second day, but let me tell you you would never realize it! He was quick efficient and made some outstanding sandwiches. Good manners and very nice guy but his name was unique I believe his name was Slade or slate!!

My family and I stopped and got 4 subs, I would say probably some of the best subs we have ever had at subway. The staff was friendly and fast.

Standard subway food but poor sanitation and a clear need for retraining. The girl they had prepping my food rolled her eyes when I requested a sub be toasted twice. Rolled her eyes again when I pointed out she didn’t toast it twice. I recieved no pleasantries only the stare of someone unmotivated to do a simple job. Second issue being I looked over to see her pushing hair out of her face with the same gloves she had made several other sandwiches with and then proceeded to make my girlfriends sub after touching her own face. I’ve had other issues but if sanitation is disregarded at a basic level then I wonder what else is neglected.

Overall, both Service and Food were pretty Typical and as Expected for this Chain Restaurant. The food was fresh and most definitely tasty. The Service was Quick and Average.
The Young Gentlemen that was Making our Subs was very Reserved, But made our Food exactly how we Requested. Even making one of the Subs a second time Without having any trouble remembering what I asked for.
The Older Women that was having a Conversation with my Partner, while Checking us out was Pleasant…Till I attempted to Tip her and the Young Gentlemen that mostly made our Sandwiches.
After paying for our Subs of Over $35+ I wanted to Tip the 2 Workers Equally. As I pulled out a $20 and held it over the counter. And begin to speak, “This is a Tip for Both…”
Before I was even able to Finish my sentence, to ask the Older Women to Break the $20 into two $10 Bills. She practically snatched the Money out of my hand and shoved it into her the Pocket of her apron as fast as she could. Then proceed to Whisper to us, “He’s Not a Good Worker Anyways.”
Of course, I was stunned by her actions and didn’t know how to respond. And just Finished my statement, “$10 is for You, The other Half is for Him.” But it fell on Deaf ears.
To avoid conflict, my partner suggested we Leave. As we grabbed our food I looked at her once again and repeated myself, “When you have a Moment, I want you to split that $20 Bill BETWEEN the BOTH of you.” I made it pretty clear.
And her respond was fuming, “I’ll think about it.” If she was joking, it wasn’t funny in any shape, way or form. I do hope that at the end of their shift, he was given his half of the share.
I Did Not Appreciate my gratitude being taken advantage off. And the Unprofessional and Selfish actions that I had to Experience at that Time and moment.

Its a shop within a shop mostly school kids first job. Some know the menu some don’t vs re. Usual. Food is fresh veggies crisp soup hot and bread is toasted if desired. Clean work station and friendly staff and quick service also healthier than mc dees. One can also buy gas, coffee or get auto repaired at location as it’s all under one roof. C stores auto body and subs. Who could ask for more right off Hwy.
