Was eating my sub today and was wondering why I couldn’t chew my bite completely… looks like a rubber stopper or the top of a sauce bottle. I know these things are rare to happen but it’s still upsetting when it does. I love subway the food is always good, but lost my appetite quick when I pulled this out of my mouth! Do better!

Came in for a salad and the gal who made it did so well, the guy in line behind me ordered one too.

The part that wasn’t great was the kid at the register. He burnt himself on the oven and exclaimed that it was second time he’s done that this week. He then stated that his finger was bleeding. He took off his glove and started messing with it. He was overly chatty and said he should be demoted so he can’t use the oven anymore. It was overly awkward and you could tell the two gals making sandwiches weren’t thrilled by his chatty nature and just wanted to help the folks in line. The gals did great but I really didn’t want the guy touching my stuff if he was bleeding. I get it, there’s a line but go clean it off quick and get a bandaid.

My salad was amazing and it was an ordinary trip in if it wasn’t for the kid at the register. Internal thoughts don’t always need to be shared with the world. Some people are naturally more talkative but he didn’t seem to be talking to anyone in particular but just talking. Maybe we can learn to keep that internal monologue as internal.

*UPDATED*
They redeem themselves today and I changed my rating from 3 stars to 5. Staff was great and fast. Everyone had a great attitude and seemed to enjoy working together. My salad was still excellent!

I was just into this Subway about 20 minutes ago with my wife. I went out of my way and had downloaded the app before getting there. The kid who took our order and rang us up refused to take my buy one get one coupon as it expired last month. It is what it is-I thought to myself. I had seen on the app that I had a buy one footlong get one free footlong anyways so I scanned the register for this deal hoping it would work. The kid tells me – “that’s for mobile order only!” Okay… that doesn’t help here. I was planning to use my coupon but didn’t because I couldn’t – I literally sat at the entry downloading the app prior to placing my order. I would have preordered it on the mobile app if I would have known I was going to go through so much hassle for the company to honor a buy one get on deal. You can make your own judgement on what you think of this location. I actually plan to do I’ve out of my way to not be served by this kid again. I spent $23 on two and had a buy one get one in my new app. If you go to this Subway location – they are normally nice-the clean cut kid with clear glasses is all about the company making their money and that is all for him. Parking here is always a nightmare. Which I would expect from a small strip like this. There are other locations in Sioux Falls that are way easier to access…

Veggies on the cold table were old and soggy. There were Three employees just hanging out doing nothing when I walked in. Overall it seems as tho this restaurant is lacking a leader and runs like trash.

I had questions about the meal of the day drove up to a very unresponsive touch screen wanted to order the meal of the day nowhere on the screen had it where I could just order that so I thought I just had to order regularly. Then get the discount on it. But that was not the case. When I pulled up to drive through, they told me what I ordered was separate from that. Or different I wanted that but they already made the other order charged more for that than the special not happy at all. I don’t recommend this place and the bread was all dried out and flaky i was just passing through as this was just off the freeway.

Went through the drive through ordered two sandwiches! The guy for one acted like he didn’t want to be there! Was rushing like he was so busy! He forgot the one sandwich so he had to go and make it! I got it it was such slop that I had to remake the sandwich when I got home and he put a sweet sauce on a cold cut when the only sauce I had put on it was mayo! He’s very rude and won’t be going back there!

I am a regular customer at this Subway. Because it is close for me.
Tonight, when I came in to get supper, I was disappointed to say the least. All employees were sitting at a table Eating food not that i’m saying anything is wrong with that Everyone needs to eat however, at 5:30 in the evening, I would assume you’re getting ready for supper Customers to come in instead of eating yourselves. I also would expect that when customers walk in the door that you greet them to acknowledge them coming in. I know that is part of subways training because I was a GM at one point in my career. These 3 young employees did not acknowledge any of the customers that came in during this time. I was the first one to come in and the young man even rolled his eyes when he had to get up and serve me. More customers followed in after me and again None of them were greeted or acknowledged. It may seem like a minor thing. But it is important to treat your customers with a little bit more respect and enthusiasm Than what I encounter tonight.

Just went through the drive-thru at the subway at 3:30. Ordered a Philly, steak &egg sandwich, and a kid’s sandwich. Started eating right after I left. Eggs were almost frozen and steak was cold. The steak in the Philly was cold as well. I brought it back and the guy behind the register immediately give me a ton of attitude. The tone is hard to show via writing. I have never been spoken to like this in a restaurant.

I told him the egg and meat on my sandwiches were super cold. He snapped, “You didn’t get it toasted. We don’t heat up any of the ingredients if you don’t want it toasted”. I said that’s not true. I’ve ordered this tons of times at subways all over. I have watched them make it. They always heat up the meat and egg first as soon as I start placing my order.

He said, “you should have told us you wanted it warmed up”. I responded that their driveway is an automated system and there is no way for me to do that. Plus I’ve never had to do it in the past.
He snapped, “Push the help button” then stormed away saying fine or whatever(can’t remember which) he’d just remake it.

At this point I just wanted my money back. I didn’t even know what to say anymore. He was so rude. He then called his coworker over to issue the refund because he didn’t know how to. I gave her my order and also requested my 20% tip back. She said she had to go to the back room and call her boss to see how to do that. She returned shortly with my receipt.

I am blown away. Nothing I said or did deserved that reaction. I don’t know if he was just having a crappy day or what. It does not excuse how he treated to me. If he’s talking to me like that so easily, then he’s talking to other people like that as well. I will never visit Subway again.
