My daughter and I tried another Subway location but it the doors were locked so we went to this location. It was ten minutes before closing, there were three customers paying for their food when we walked in. We were told by the Sandwich maker that they would be closing in ten minutes so it had to be a to go order. I said that was fine. When he was done with the previous customers he told us that “this is a one time thing. This can’t happen again, we close in ten minutes.” Then he continued taking our order in a rude tone and would roughly throw cheese back into the bin. My daughter told me later that she wanted her sandwich toasted but she was afraid to ask due to him seeming like he was mad. He made it seem like we do this a lot. This was the first time in years .. YEARS. That we had Subway. It wasn’t a pleasant experience and we won’t be going back to that location.

The morning on 9/24/2025 around 9:50am, the owner of Subway in the Walmart in Wisconsin Rapids WI denied my service dog to enter. Joe the owner said my dog was an emotional support dog. I told him that my dog was a trained service dog and my dog had a leash that says service dog and that my dog had a tag on his collar that says service dog. He said unless I was blind he doesn’t let those kinds of dogs in. I explained to him that my dog was a service dog and he is trained for medical issues that I have and that I need the service dog. I told him what medical condition I had and that I needed a service dog. He said it didn’t matter, he could deny my dog to come in. I went to my car and looked up how to fill a complaint against a business that deny service dog to enter a business. I went back into Subway because the complaint needed employees name. When i went back in to ask his name. He said it was Joe and that he is the owner. He also said my dog needed a vest on. I told him that I was going to fill a complaint and he said go ahead. According to ADA law my dog doesn’t need to wear a vest. Our dog is well behaved and you can tell that he is working and he knows his job. I called the ADA office and they told me to fill a report against the owner at Subway in Walmart . The ADA said that he discriminated against me with having a disability. He denied me to enter because I wasn’t blind but according to ADA law my dog is a service dog.
Also a business is aloud to ask two questions according ADA law.
“Is the animal a service animal required because of a disability”.
“What work or task has the animal been trained to perform?”
They cannot ask about the person’s specific disability, ask for any documentation for the animal, or ask the dog to demonstrate its task.”
Joe didn’t even ask this. Before going into Subway after checking out at Walmart, my dog was just sitting by me like he is trained to do and after we started to walk in, is when he denied my service dog to enter. My dog didn’t do anything to make Subway that he wasn’t a service dog. I went to another Subway in town and they said they had no issues with my dog and he was well behaved. My son is a witness.

Walked in & they had plastic cars as decorations from the dollar store on a table ( kid height) my 2 yr old who is obsessed with cars grabbed one and was walking around with it – i put it back and he went and grabbed it again so I just let him have it at the table while we ate -didn’t think it was a big deal. An employee then starts loudly talking about how a couple of the same cars have gone missing wishing she wouldn’t have put them out. I set the car on the windowsill by our booth when we were done eating and she still said something about how another of her cars is going out the door as I’m leaving.. didn’t take your car and didn’t appreciate the accusing

Don’t you just love it when you bite into a TURKEY sandwich and it tasting like rotten fish! this is the first time i’ve EVER left a negative review, it genuinely tasted like fish. Do not go to this subway if you have allergies to certain foods. Especially seafood allergies.

Second time I’ve been at this subway and have had a horrible experience. Last time the guy had a horrible attitude because I had asked for a salad, threw out the whole time was just throwing stuff in he salad chopping bowl and just does not care. Today I just went in and the owner was working, very pleasant till the end when I had asked for two mayo cups on the side (this is my normal routine). I had watched him the whole time never got the cups out, so I had payed for my subs by now and I asked again can you get my mayo cups? He said “I put mayo in the bag” *then opened the bag and showed me the mayo packets* and then he said” it ways easier to grab them instead of cups”. So without asking me he put mayo packets in my bag out of peer laziness. Always completely disappointed in this subway.

Every other Subway in my area accepts corporate Subway coupons, received in mail, this one doesn’t. I will take my money to the others because I guess this one in Walmart doesn’t need it. They say advertising is one of a business’s biggest expenses. Go figure!! Would rate 0 if I could. Customer service not very friendly, seems to be consistent. Smile, welcome & thank your customer (like back in the day when companies trained their employees) because without me, you don’t have a job. I believe the way the world works is that without sales there is no way to pay expenses such as payroll. Thank you for reading this & have a nice day
P. S. I guess this location is ideal because I run into this customer service pretty often with Walmart employees. I feel as if they don’t want you there or you are an inconvenience.

Went to this subway wednesday june 16th around 5:30pm. There were two workers literally shouting about how they don’t know how they even got the job. They didn’t know where anything was. They literally asked us how much bacon and the one girl that was working said two pieces. I don’t even work at subway and I know that’s wrong. Subway you should really check out your workers because I was just gonna walk out because of how they were talking.

It’s good for convenience and when you don’t want a greaseburger with high sodium fries.
The menu is not clear. A simple grid would work better.
Reasonably priced if you want to pay someone else to make your sandwiches, and as long as you don’t add drinks, chips, and cookies.

Meatball sub wasn’t good. The quality has gone down hill considerably. Doesn’t help that they wring out the sub like a towel when they wrap it up. Got home to a squished mess of a sandwich. Unfortunately should have just went into Walmart and bought the things and made it myself.

Have Artesan flatbread, Spinach or Tomato Basil Wrap, HOT SOUPS of the day. Breakfast menu is incredible. Croissants (egg n cheese with sausage/ bacon/steak/ham- you decide!) Or put it on a sub or flatbread, toasted or heated. Options are endless! There’s also cinnamon rolls, hot salted or unsalted pretzels with/ without side of cheese or cinnamon pretzel! Crazy good chips selection and the cookies are always fresh. Clean store, good fast service. Plus get your groceries in Walmart, all in one stop. If you haven’t checked it out lately, I highly recommend it.
