Reviews
I am writing to formally complain about a recurring and unacceptable issue at the Subway location at Pilot Travel Center #40, 2031 W Ryan Rd, Oak Creek, WI 53154, off I-94 at Exit 322. regarding the inability to redeem Subway gift cards and the lack of any alternative payment option.
On December 22, 2025 and again on January 1,2025, I attempted to use Subway gift cards at this location and was told that the gift card machine was down, making redemption impossible both times.
What makes this issue more concerning is that this location continues to sell Subway gift cards, despite being unable to process them. Although I did not purchase my gift cards at this store, customers reasonably expect Subway gift cards to be redeemable at Subway restaurants—especially at locations that actively sell them.
Additionally, this location has online ordering turned off, which could have provided an alternative way to use the gift cards. With both in-store gift card processing unavailable and online ordering disabled, customers are left with no viable way to redeem Subway gift cards at this location.
As a result, I am left holding $100 worth of Subway gift cards that are unusable at this store, after making multiple visits. This combination of issues reflects poor operational management and undermines customer trust in the Subway brand.
I am requesting:
1. An explanation as to why this location is selling gift cards it cannot redeem
2. Immediate corrective action to restore gift card acceptance and/or online ordering
3. Resolution for the inconvenience and wasted trips caused by this recurring issue
I expect a prompt response outlining how this matter will be addressed.
Thank you,
AD
I know it’s just a sandwich but it’s super frustrating to pay for something consistently that is never done the correct way.
It’s an inconvenience to drive back and waste my break for them to remake the sandwich so I just shut up and eat it. But today is the last straw. They forgot the meat on my sandwich and this wasn’t the first time.
Moral of the story, if you want a good sandwich, make it your damn self.
From the moment I walked into this Subway, I knew I was in for an experience unlike any other. But little did I know, I’d meet someone who would not only craft the perfect sandwich but also steal my heart: Emiliano.
The way he carefully layers the ingredients, the gentle precision in every movement—it’s clear that Emiliano isn’t just a sandwich artist, he’s an artist of the soul. My sandwich? Perfect. My heart? Left in pieces, scattered like the fresh veggies on the counter.
I came in for a footlong, but I left with so much more. He greeted me with a smile that could light up the darkest sub shop. And as he crafted my sandwich with love and devotion, it was as if every slice of turkey was a declaration of affection. The tender way he wrapped it, like he was cradling my dreams, had me swooning.
Emiliano, you are the true masterpiece behind the counter. I’ll be back not just for the sandwiches, but for the chance to gaze upon your culinary genius and your perfect smile.
Sincerely, A humble admirer, forever enchanted by your sandwich artistry.
