A nice place to get your healthy fast food. Whether its breakfast, lunch or dinner. The new restaurant has so much space and a drive thru. It’s so refreshing to see a parking lot that can accommodate large numbers. (Before it was somewhat of an issue) we order online, drive thru and eat in. The quality is still great and it’s adequately staffed. We love their cookies. It’s one of the few places you can go for a keto diet in town.

I ordered a turkey bacon wrap. I was disappointed. The ends were open and looked like they used flatbread. I am tired of calling in to complain. This is not what I thought when I ordered a wrap. I wanted the wrap cause I do not do alot of bread. Very disappointed and had to throw away.

Would be a 1 star but the bread was amazing.
Asked loudly for cheddar cheese (since the music was loud), they put shredded cheese on it. Then they Made a stink when I said I didn’t want shredded cheese. Then they Tried putting the cheddar on top of the shredded cheese. I said no thanks and then got grilled on why I didn’t like shredded cheese, because after all – part of it is cheddar…
Then the Employees complained how they would automatically decide to select shredded cheese if someone asked for cheddar. I asked if I could get the cheddar or not?
Jeebus kryst I thought the sammich artists mad the subs the way the customer wanted not the way they wanted.
When my family and I finally got the food we got to hear them complain loudly about how they were forced to “eat here and only subway food”. Holy hell, if you hate your job, quit and save customers from hearing about it all.
The atmosphere was wierd. The muisac shifted from Halloween music to 2016 to 80s synth pop… odd as heck…

I take my Granddaughter here a couple times a month. Always order on app. The last visit we both got the worst subs we have ever had! Very little meat and very skimpy on toppings. Very Disappointing!!

My husband and I had a bad experience a few years back but thought after so long we’d try again , big mistake! Just to get through to paying took almost 30 minutes with only 1 person ahead of us. Employees were complaining about different things but loud enough that customers could hear it . Bread only was toasted but ended up rock hard . Nothing tasted fresh especially the vegetables and mayonnaise and sandwiches were like room temp. , not cold whatsoever. Both of us were only able to eat maybe 1/4 th of our sandwiches before we ended up getting sick. NO MORE CHANCES AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THE FORT MADISON, IA. LOCATION!!
