Looks like a change in management. Woman’s restrooms was missing a handle and out of order. Our house was mailed coupons but store doesn’t participate in coupons. Store was cash only. Won’t be back to this location.

This location has been the worst subway location I’ve been to for the last several years. They close whenever they want, they don’t accept any subway coupons at all and the service is hit and miss. We drive a couple extra miles just to avoid this one right by our house!!

The lettuce bins were nasty – the inside wall coated with soggy, old lettuce. Like all Subways, their menu offers to make any sub a salad. They put everything in a bowl but said they do not chop it up because their franchise does not do that. I have never heard of that – it would have been nice to know that before ordering. There was pink mold on the ice dispensers. Gross.

Cringe!!!! I’m sorry but this location is a hot mess! No subway coupons accepted and as of recently cash only. I just find that very inconvenient. No cookies were ready, floors needed to be swept. Building supplies just sitting in the corner. There were onion pieces in the cucumbers. Nope. Will not go back.

Visited this Subway last night with my daughter and was appalled by the service of the guy who made our sandwiches. He had blonde hair, a mullet and a camo baseball hat. So rude and obviously didn’t want to be there. He literally threw the vegetables on my sandwich of which half wound up on the floor. Just don’t know why the owners would allow someone like this to represent their franchise and be customer facing. We will definitely start making the little longer drive to the Subway just east of 35/80 on Hickman rather than this Waukee location.

This subway is complete garbage. I wish it were better but 99% of the time I go out of my way to go to another subway across town. I hadn’t been in months and thought to myself “maybe it’s better” I was wrong. I can’t tell if it’s lack of training or lack of care but my sandwich is always made so sloppy and careless it’s impossible to eat. You may as well just load all the ingredients into a canon and shoot it at some bread and wrap that up – that basically what I get handed every time i come here. Also i asked for a “very little bit of Mayo” …it’s literally swimming in Mayo…Anyone who is thinking of going here do yourself a favor and drive a few more miles to the west Des Moines location.

Came into store was looked at like I did not belongs or would get good service. I did not. I was so uncomfortable in that place. Weird stares. Get with it it’s in 2023 and you still have Racism in the restaurant. I promise I will never come back to this place and also let family, friends, and colleagues know to not come to Subway. Place need to be closed down.

I don’t like leaving a review for this reason, but- I maintain a residence within rock throwing distance of this Subway. Each week, I get a full page of Subway coupons delivered with the free paper.
