This is not a Subway. This is a full body sensory experience. It has some of the trappings of the Subway, but it is located inside a log cabin and has only 30% of the menu items found at a normal Subway. What it lacks in menu items it makes up for in sandwich performance art, a Cirque de Subway if you will. We were regaled with a tall tale of sandwich subterfuge by our sandwich artist, who by his belt buckle was clearly a Texan, but played the part of an overly chatty midwesterner with great aplomb. The roast beef was okay.

Hours state they open at 8, its 12:30 in the afternoon and the door is locked and no one is there. Watched multiple people come and leave because of this. Sign on the door has a laundry list of items they are out of. This place will almost certainly close soon. Its a great location and the only real fast food for miles. Someone will make better use of this location soon hopefully.

I’m excitedly updating my review today to reflect new owners and management in the Kingsley location! I’m excited to see a friendly, familiar, and reliable face back in this location! This young manager takes pride in her position and her place in the community! Thank you for bringing this location back online, and thank you for being an easy and reliable place for the locals!

(Early 2025) Within the last month to month and a half this location has severely declined in quality and reliability. Twice I’ve been in recently only for the restaurant to be missing several common ingredients. During those visits I witnessed two very young guys, obviously high school age, working amongst mess, clutter and chaos without proper supervision. Today I show up…. No bread. What a joke. If you fail your community and customers, your community and customers will fail you. May the new owners find the ability to run their business properly.

Under new ownership and much better! Stocked condiment bar, clean with friendly staff.

Don’t know what’s happened to this location but holy hell, it’s pretty sad when you’ve got 5 people waiting outside the door nearly an hour after the displayed open time because the doors are still locked, employees visible from the windows just standing around talking not acknowledging the people waiting outside, didn’t answer the phone when called to find out what was going on. Everyone left hungry and furious after waiting over 20 minutes for employees to acknowledge them or something of any matter. 100% will never come to again, I’ll drive the extra miles to town

They were out of mayo and most sauces. Also the soda machine had half off the drinks out of order. The guy working there basically told me his life story while making my sandwich and I was just trying to get in and out. Definitely will not be back

Used to be good when the local kids worked there. Now the camel jockeys took over just like Mayfield with they’re filthy ways around food. Could visibly see hair in the lettuce container. Bread tasted old. Most of the condiments looked like they sat out for days. Sad to say but I’ll never go back as long as they are running the joint.

Idk what happened to the Kingsley Subway but it’s a friggin joke now.. No drinks, no veggies, they have mustard and ranch for dressing. No napkins. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Poor kids working there ain’t getting no damn tips and not their fault there is no management whatsoever. Like just close it if you don’t want to run it, instead of scamming and wasting customers time and money. Seriously, don’t go there. Shoulda taken pics..

Worst attitude. And I asked for lettuce and they put handfuls of it on there and then I asked for jalapeños and they only put 5 on there
