This is the second time I’ve went recently and the same employee has made the subs.
I was not impressed, thought maybe it was just a one off but the second time same thing happened.
Extremely lacking when it comes to adding any veggies on your sub. I don’t know what the deal is with pickles but especially pickles!
And when you’re a vegetarian and your sub literally consist of cheese and veggies, I’d like to actually taste cheese and a good amount of lettuce, green peppers, banana peppers etc. instead of just cheese and a hunk of bread. I know it’s not just me, I had someone with me ordering a sub also. They asked for more black olives and pickles on their tuna sub, we both asked nicely if she wouldn’t mind putting some more on both of ours and she had nothing to say and obviously didn’t want to. I’m sure there is probably a standard amount of how much they are allowed to add but we weren’t asking for an insane amount, considering it was already lacking from how much she had put on. We were even like we’ll pay extra, we don’t mind, could you please load it up!
I feel like it would have been fine, between the two of us we wouldn’t have depleted their pickle inventory on a Tuesday afternoon but apparently she thought so.
It’s whatever, it’s not the end of the world but I just needed to warn anyone who actually wants a good sub, just don’t bother from this subway!
Good job subway
Ps the register makes a clown noise and I like it.
Nonetheless, they graciously made me the most avant-garde sandwich possible within the undoubtedly draconian boundaries of corporate sandwich shop policies: banana peppers, arranged in the shape of a banana, on whole grain bread. I called it “the Warhol.”
5 stars! I will be coming back
