Absolutely disgusting!!!! Fly’s everywhere all over the food. The younger girl with the neck tattoo cut her hand with a knife while cutting the bread for my sub and continued making it like I didn’t even happen. Health inspector would close this place down if he was there. All the staff look like junkies. I refused my sandwich and left. Absolutely disgusting.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Bread left out on the racks. TONS of flies literally sitting on top of the bread that they serve customers. I asked Logan could I have bread that didn’t have flies on it and the response was “if you worked in food service you would know there is nothing I could do about it. There are gonna be flies everywhere” in a very rude tone. maybe try placing the items that you are serving people in closed containers? I managed to actually get a picture of a fly on the bread. Seriously disgusting and need to work on better cleanliness practices.

If you confirm your hours to Google LESS THEN A WEEK AGO, then make sure your employees actually keep it open. I seen a subway employee working but SHE decided to close. Not management.

Food was adequate. The service wasn’t as good. Only one decent employee was working. They asked if I wanted to upgrade to chips and a drink and when I asked how much it would be, they gained an attitude and treated me poorly after I asked. The lettuce and cucumber on my sub was old and had a rubbery texture.

I love Subway food and the convenience of the Grasslake location and most of the employees are great. Lately the vegetables have been sitting in frozen bins with the vegetables partially frozen. The staff says the health department is fine with it. Although food safety is most important, I won’t be back because the frozen vegetables turn to slime when they thaw on the sandwich. I will visit the other location a little further so I can have a crisp and not slimy sandwich. FYI if you double pan the vegetables they might not freeze.

Jackie is awesome. She made my sub very well without skimping on anything and was very polite and courteous the whole time. She even made sure to wish me an excellent day as I was walking out the door. Definitely the best subway I’ve visited.

I’m disappointed to say my experience was not a positive one. None of the employees were wearing there masks. Unfortunately I regret asking for a salad, barely filled the container with very little meat and was ~$7. Barely any meat or even vegetables, even when I asked for more greens. I requested light dressing and it was still quite heavy. Then had to go back to get a fork for my salad. Even when trying to order, the employees were irritated when I needed to clarify something (I will note no one was waiting behind me). I will not be coming back to this subway in particular, but subway will be losing my business with these kind of prices.

Terrible service the employees were rude and more interested in flirting with male customers instead of moving the line then as I order a pizza she is very rude and telling me they are only frozen ones left I said then let in thaw it or tell me you don’t have any and I’ll leave and she just turned and started talking about me to a coworker and said they cant unthaw it sobit don’t tell me just mumble it I walked out I have worked for subway and I know there’s away they could of made the pizza but yet and still could of politely let me know they ran out I will never go back and I will tell everyone I know

We have stopped at this location on our way to the lake at least 4 times since Memorial weekend. The employees are never wearing a mask. Even today, with an executive order for masks to be worn indoors, still not one employee wearing a mask. Should they really be making sandwiches for the public without a mask? Eating a sandwich made here certainly puts you at a greater risk.
