If/when you’re out of something, I totally understand. However, YOU must communicate that information. You can’t simply substitute an item without asking questions; food substitutions could kill, “literally!”
I ordered Dr. Pepper to drink, they were out of that. They communicated that and alternatives were provided. I got Cherry Pepsi.
I ordered chocolate chip cookies with my meal, and was provided double chocolate chip with macadamia nuts instead. I’m deathly allergic to tree nuts. However, the less than intelligent staff member was too busy trying to close up early (at 9:20 PM) when the shop doesn’t close till 10 PM.
This person needs to do better. This person needs to be consistent in their efforts. This person needs to be reprimanded by management/ ownership.
If you have a job, do it well. Just showing up and doing the bare minimum could have massive consequences for your customers. Do you have the funds to pay for hospital bills?
