The reason for the 4* review it would have been 5 if the Sandwich Artist at the Subway @ 2180 Sean Dr. in Fremont, Ohio would have actually read the instructions on how i wanted my sandwiches cut. I asked that they be cut into 4 (four) pieces each so they could be evenly split up the Artist decided that 3 (three) pieces each sandwich was sufficient. It was not.

Well, this was an extraordinarily terrible experience.

My wife ordered a 3 sub deal, with a coupon, at 6:20 pm for pickup at 7:10 pm. I arrived at the store at 7:00 pm. Spoke with the young man working behind the counter about my pickup order. He was very kind and informed me that he hadn’t started on it yet. I acknowledged that I was actually early, bought a drink, and waited… for an hour and 15 minutes.

During my wait, I watched 4 walk in orders come in and go, while 2 other people waited as well. I give those 2 Doordash drivers immense credit for waiting like they did. (I sincerely hope they got massive tips or were working earn by hour (EBH) or else they were taken for a terrible ride.)

I give the solitary, young male employee credit. Despite absolutely drowning in orders, getting a couple walk outs, and likely feeling the subtle frustration around him; he stayed very friendly. It wasn’t until 8:00 that another, older female employee appeared to help him out. I’m not sure if she just happened to walk in at that time, or had been elsewhere, but it was beyond necessary.

If it hadn’t already been paid for, I probably would’ve left after half an hour, tops. But the hassle of calling, requesting a chargeback, and jumping through the hoops kept me there. When I had finally decided, after an hour, that enough time had been wasted, I approached the counter. I had every intention of telling them not to bother with the food, and that I was leaving. However, the female employee asked the name on the order and told me that she was finishing the final sub. I guess the sunken cost fallacy caught me, so I waited the final 2 minutes, got my food and left.

I realize I could’ve been loud, approached again, or made demands. The poor dude behind the counter wasn’t responsible for this. He was just doing the best he could, by himself. This is just poor management/ownership. But, hey, they spent money “modernizing” the interior.

I know Subway is losing relevance in America. They’ve been on the downslope since the $5 footling days and actually have competition in the sub market. The coupon we got was the only reason I even bothered to get food there. This experience reminds me why I stopped going there: it’s just not worth it anymore. I’m down the money spent, an hour of my time, and *meh* subs for dinner.

If you’re looking at reviews for Subway, do yourself a favor and get a real meal somewhere else. For the time and money you’ll spend, it’s worth it to eat at a true restaurant.

Ordered a footlong flatbread. Gave me 6 inches worth of meat/vegetables, rolled the wrong way. Ended up with mostly extra bread.

Staff was so friendly and EFFICIENT!!! We showed up with several people as a part of 2 full busloads. They got everyone through so quickly and with a smile. They were thrilled to have our business. It was refreshing to have them be so cherry and ready to get us helped.

Had the worst experience with an employee. We walked in wanted to order a few subs. He looked at us and walked away and said he was too busy to take care of us right now. We stood there and waited. As he went to the back and started doing something made us wait for 20 minutes. Finally, we left and a few other customers left also. Very nasty attitude and very rude to customers I don’t recommend this subway at all !!!

This place was in tip top shape when Jessica was the manager. The owners and general manager treated her very poorly. She went above and beyond for them and that store but it must of not been good enough. I came in everyday. Jessica, valarie and Payton always did a great job with me and my families food. A few months ago Dakota was the manager with amy as the assistant and she ran it into the ground. I stopped in a few days ago and there’s new staff and management. Seemed like they were doing okay with the new store. Still miss Jessica. She is so kind. Hope they realized how great the store was when she was there.

Clean facility, friendly staff, prompt service. Chango was very friendly and personable, he went above and beyond to ensure I enjoyed my subway experience. He exceeded my expectations by making great suggestions for an already great tasting sub. The staff all kept busy even with the low volume of customers. Overall this subway has won my return business!

Horrible, sub bread was soggy, almost no veg on my footlong. Got a pinch of lettuce, 3 pickles, 3 tomato’s, one small dollop of mayo. Worst sub I’ve ever gotten from subway. Wont be going back. Did an online order so didn’t watch it get made, big mistake obviously

The employees are Always so nice. I’ve been coming to this specific subway because it’s always clean and I’ve never had a bad experience. The blonde younger girl has always been nothing but kind. From what I’ve seen they’re all very face paced workers.
