This has always been my FAVORITE subway to go to, when i used to live in Metropolis IL i would drive over there because i love this subway. but the other night i went in after being in the hospital for 6 hours, and it was 3 hours before this subway closes… they had NO veggies. and also charged me for a whole sandwich when they didn’t even have veggies me and my boyfriend were just a bit disappointed since it is a little bit out of the way from where we live.

Very busy at the time we walked in. The Subway staff are all friendly and worked quickly to get all the customers taken care of.

A Rising Star at Subway
I had the pleasure of being served by a young employee named Titus at the local Subway recently, and I was truly impressed. His customer service skills were exceptional. He was polite, friendly, and efficient. He listened attentively to my order, made helpful suggestions, and prepared my sandwich with care.
What truly stood out was his positive attitude and eagerness to learn. His enthusiasm was contagious, and it made the entire experience enjoyable. It’s clear that Titus has a bright future ahead of him. I believe he has the potential to excel in any field he chooses.

Ordered dippers since we just wanted a quick snack, and they said they don’t provide dipping sauce and that it cost extra. Didn’t make sense to me since that’s the advertisement it comes with a sauce, but we were charged $1.40 extra for the only sauce.
They also wouldn’t make the dipper to order, they didn’t allow any customization to be done whatsoever. It’s not like they are pre-made items, they literally make them there alongside the sandwiches, and said they could add a few veggies, but not extra meat even though I was willing to pay extra for that.
Won’t be ordering from subway anytime, especially because they don’t honor in app purchases before 4pm, just like in Illinois.
Not surprised

They nailed it! Absolutely perfect sandwich. I know I ask for unusually specific stuff, and they didn’t bat an eye when I asked for my bacon microwaved separately. As a former general manager of a competitor sandwich shop, literally perfect.
Bread 10/10
Vegetables 10/10 everything fresh and crispy.
Everything was great! I’ll be coming back for more of this!

I waited for 15 for the dude washing dishes to finish his dishes before he helped me. I then asked for a #43 a chicken salad wrap and they didn’t know how to make the “new” wraps with the flatbread they just kept insisting that they had no wraps even though their menu boards literally say wraps on it with a picture of the chicken salad wrap these wraps have been out for more then a year who ever manages this store need to do a lot more training

This owner when I first moved here a couple years ago, didn’t accept coupons. Then later , he accepted them. Now, again he does not… he has a Subway franchise , he should accept the coupons! Also I was in there a couple weeks ago( that’s when I found out about the coupons) and this one young girl didn’t seem like she even wanted to be working…. Sad part of all this ….. the food is good….

The young blonde making the sandwich seemed like she hated her job, almost like it was an inconvenience to be there. Menu was outdated and half of the items weren’t listed. Out sandwiches were burnt to a crisp.

I walked in, was greeted, asked what sandwich I want, no problem. It started getting made. The lady who loaded up the meat or protein stopped preparing my order because the toaster beeped twice. She stared down the other coworker and mimicked the toaster, loudly saying BEEP BEEP. Okay, tell the other worker to hurry up without saying it, or offering help. That’s professional. She finally went back, and finished loading my sandwich with meat. I’m next for toppings and she starts to pull bread out of the oven, grabs the Italian herb and cheese and brings up the breads “skin color”. Is that appropriate? Can she just say these things because she’s colored? It left me feeling bad for the second employee, who acted shy and abused, and I can see why. I can’t believe this is how subway thinks an employee should behave, ruining team morale, and making for a weird atmosphere.
