I was working off of North St & thought I could grab a quick sandwich for lunch. When I entered the store, there was one customer at the counter. I decided to use the restroom to wash my hands to allow her time to finish up. The restroom was not pleasant: unflushed, toilet with a dirty seat, toilet paper on the floor & the toilet paper dispenser hanging open. I thought about leaving, but only having 30 minutes for lunch, I opted to order. The woman working the counter was rude & unfriendly. When I asked for a 6″ sub, she took out a loaf & halved it & started making 2 sandwiches. I was a little confused until I saw a ticket on the counter & realized she was making another sub at the same time. Since there was no one else in the store, I mistakenly thought she would make my sandwich & then tend to the other order, but instead, she completed that sandwich, wrapped it, bagged it & attached the ticket to the bag – all while my time for lunch ticked away. 4 minutes later, she looked up to ask what I wanted on my sub. I know at that point I should have walked out, but that meant no lunch at all so I completed my order, paid & left. My first bite was dry, crunchy bread – she had not even spread out the ingredients to cover the bread! I was only able to eat 1/2 my sandwich as I ran out of time & without having means to refrigerate the remainder, it became trash. I will NEVER visit this restaurant again & don’t recommend it to anyone for anything!!!

I ran into Subway to grab a sandwich for lunch. There was no one in line, one couple already eating. I walked up to the counter, the employee was just getting ready to start fixing 2 pick up orders, she hadn’t even cut the bread yet. She barely acknowledged me and instead of taking my order, she started working on the invisible customer next to me. She offered no reason why those orders needed to be filled before a physical customer was standing in front of her. So I watched her completely ignore me for about 8 minutes and just left. There’s a reason why the place is always empty, and that’s because they hire the lowest hanging rotten fruit looking for a job. I won’t ever go back there again.

I hadn’t noticed this location the numerous times I drove past because it’s tucked away in a small strip off the road with an obscure entrance. The restaurant appeared clean. I ordered a 6″ tuna sub & it was tasty. The staff was the unpleasant part. Both the women working were not particularly friendly & seemed fairly miserable. I probably won’t return to this location purely because the employees were such a downer – not something I’m looking for on my short lunch break.

The food was wonderful. Although we did feel very bad for Wendy. Working new years eve, alone, having 5ppl lined up at 7:30 while still having to close? Why is she alone?? Especially on a holiday.. gross company behavior.

I liked this location. Very clean, friendly funny staff. It’s a usual subway sub, nothing super special, but the employees were enjoying their shift and everything was spotless. I’d rather go to this location than some others. Nice job.

The West State location used to be the best Subway in town, but not anymore! Had a very negative experience today. Ordered online, received a call from the store that they were out of cookies. Fine. It happens. I asked if we could switch them out for a bag of chips, which actually wouldn’t have even covered the price of the cookies, but no, manager says she will have to refund my order, and I will have to resubmit the online order without the cookies. A little aggravating, but still, I get it. I worked in food service a long time, swapping things out often can throw off your inventory numbers. I resubmit the order online, exactly the same order as before, minus the cookies. Now I get another call from the “manager” who, without apologizing, says, “We’re out of mozzarella cheese and chicken. You’ll have to order at a different Subway.” Are you kidding me?!? You couldn’t have told me you were out of that stuff the first time you called? Very unprofessional, and the unapologetic tone is what really throws it over the top. And this whole ordeal ate up about an hour of my time, and started at 7pm, so it’s not like they were getting ready to close for the day. Inexcusable. I guess the last “good Subway” in the Tri-Cities has just given up like the rest of them have. Very disappointed.

Thought we would stop by and get a sub walked in 1 guy in line the woman finished making his sandwich took his money picked something out of her mouth with a bare hand turned looked at my wife and I and said have a seat I got to fix 10 before I can get to you it’s going to be awhile. Needless to say won’t be back I’ll go somewhere else in the future. Btw she started fixing the other subs without washing those nasty hands…..

Placing an online order should be taking precedent over in store considering the fact that the online order is 20-30 mins before it is ready to then some into the location and still have to wait another 10 mins before the order is done. It is absolutely ridiculous that you have to wait 40 mins for a simple sandwich to be made! This store needs more staff it is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS to expect 1 person to deal with a Friday night! This poor guy was swamped and had no help! I know everyone is short staffed but if you cannot staff businesses then cut hours more so you team members don’t get stuck on their own!! So sad!!

Great location on W. State St in TN, lots of up-close parking, especially after 5pm when the other businesses are closed. This place is immaculate! All of the tables were wiped, the front counter and sandwich making area was CLEAN, all of the condiment bottles were gunk free and filled, the meat, cheese and veggie bins were full with fresh items! FRESH, y’all! Last but not least, Christina and Nick were awesome! I hope they’re working every time I go in.
