I stopped into the Subway inside Walmart expecting the usual: a sandwich, mild confusion about whether I wanted it toasted, and the quiet realization that I somehow spent $14 on lunch. What I did not expect was to encounter Ariana — the undisputed MVP of sandwich artistry.
From the moment I stepped up, Ariana was moving at a pace that can only be described as Olympic-level sandwich assembly. Bread slicing, toppings flying, customers smiling… it was like watching a perfectly choreographed deli ballet. Meanwhile, she somehow managed to greet every single customer like they were a regular at a five-star restaurant. Friendly, upbeat, patient — the kind of customer service that makes you pause and think, Wait… this is inside a Walmart, right?
But here’s where Ariana truly became a legend.
I ordered a foot-long Spicy Italian, and somewhere in the middle of the process she casually saved me a couple bucks by pointing out a deal I didn’t even know about. Now let’s be honest… in today’s world that kind of thing is about as rare as finding a shopping cart in the Walmart parking lot that actually rolls straight. Most people would just ring it up and send you on your way.
Not Ariana.
You could genuinely tell she cared about doing a good job and helping customers, which is especially impressive considering companies these days don’t exactly shower their frontline employees with the kind of pay they deserve. Yet here she was, working hard, being kind, making people laugh, and running that Subway like she personally owned the franchise.
If Subway corporate is reading this, two things:
1. Ariana deserves a raise.
2. If you don’t give her one, someone else probably will.
Great service is rare. Ariana made buying a sandwich feel like a good experience, not just a transaction. If you’re at the Walmart Subway and she’s behind the counter, congratulations — you picked the right line.

Ariyanna was amazing at her job. We came in famished and really upset because the other subways were giving us a hard time because they didn’t have the stuff that we wanted and upon requesting our sandwich, ariyanna Made everything to a tea! Her hospitality was impeccable and she was just the sweetest person ever, especially given that it was 10 o’clock at night and they were just about to close, Managed to pull through and make all of our orders. The customers are forced to wait periods of time. I was ordering a sandwich and the employee was taking care of another one while her coworker spent her time talking with a Walmart employee, a fly landed on my sub and when she got back to my sub she swatted it away and was going to continue making my sandwich but that was disgusting and I walked away. I hear them talking behind me while I was walking out about how they couldn’t care or how I came off “rude and entitled”.

Very bad experience with a girl with brown hair and white skin. Unfortunately, they don’t have her name on the sweater, but she has terrible care, even with children. She treated the child poorly. With this I mean that until they get her out of there, neither my cousin nor I will go to that place anymore, and I will tell as many people as I can. She is the one who worked the Tuesday, September 10th shift, in the afternoon shift.

Terrible service. The woman who attended me during the night shift was extremely rude I couldn’t even ask a question. I waited 15 minutes, and the only response I got was being told, “At night you can’t be calling like this.” If you’re going to run a business, then take care of your customers properly. otherwise, it’s better to just close it.

employee shook the tip jar after handing me my change, so i tipped which I felt very disrespected shaking the jar but I put money in it. But he also forgot to put bacon on the monster I ordered. Tempted to just return my food and never support that subway again.

Customer service was nonexistent. The sub maker complained about my order to his coworker so that I could hear. Additionally did so using profanity. There were no other customers in the subway at all, yet he wasn’t working on my order as he complained. He then played dumb and asked if I needed something since I was standing there. I got the vibe that he was having a power trip. I was patient and waited for my order and left without a fuss. But this was a terrible experience and it happened on my birthday. I’m afraid this will be my first and last time ordering from subway, as I don’t want to relive this experience.

Employees at this subway are the nicest & fastest. There always so happy. The place is very clean and neat. It’s located inside Walmart right by self-checkout.
