We stopped by on our route to Keywest to pick up couple of subs. We were helped by ‘Rich’ and he was very pleasant and made my sandwich very nicely. Facility was clean and best part is that they have veggie patty which is not available on a lot of subway.

This location is an embarrassment to the Subway brand.
I worked at Subway from age 16 to 23, so I know exactly how this business operates. What I experienced here was not only incorrect — it was blatantly unprofessional and hostile.
I recently moved to the Keys and tried to continue my daily routine of grabbing a morning sub. I placed an online order to give this location a fair chance. When I arrived, they refused to toast my sub, claiming they “don’t toast subs unless they have meatballs.” That is a completely made-up rule and has never been Subway policy.
When I questioned when this imaginary policy started, instead of providing an explanation or fixing the order, I was told, “I don’t want to deal with you,” and then told to leave. That’s not customer service — that’s outright disrespect.
I called afterward to speak with a manager and was told the person who treated me this way was the manager. If that’s true, it explains everything. This store is being run by someone with zero professionalism, zero accountability, and zero understanding of basic business or brand standards.
Between the fake rules, refusal to fulfill a simple request, and the aggressive dismissal of a paying customer, this place has earned its reputation — if it doesn’t already have one, it will soon.
First and last visit. Save your money and go literally anywhere else. Subway is supposed to be about customization and customer choice — this location offers neither.

This location sits at the end of a plaza. Although they are short on staff, per the sign on their front door, the service was friendly and fast.
I liked the seat arrangements. There’s small chairs and little round tables near the windows for seating as well as the wall bench and table chair seating.
It is clean and they also have highchairs for small children. There’s also a handicap sloped entryway onto the sidewalk for easier access for those in wheelchairs, etc.

We just stop by this morning to pick up a couple of subs. We got to go and we got to take out for lunch later today in the boat. The woman at the counter was very pleasant and made our sandwiches with care and a smile. Very clean and relaxed atmosphere.

I am literally sitting inside subway as I write this review. Horrible customer service and rude employee. They forgot the cheese inside both the sandwiches. They made one sandwich completely wrong adding ingredients I didn’t order and not adding ingredients I did. This is very dangerous for someone with food allergies. I ordered through the app so there shouldn’t be multiple mistakes since they have it typed up for them and not verbally told to them. There were two employees working on November 21, 2021 at 4:10pm. Employees are one male and one female. I don’t like throwing away food especially when someone incompetent can’t do their job right and then give attitude when a customer complains that they received something they didn’t order. Everyone keeps on blaming Covid and telling customers to be nice but if employees did their job right and had better customer service there wouldn’t be anyone being rude back or complaining.
I don’t like throwing away food so the solution was that they gave me cold cheeses to sprinkle on my toasted sandwiches. Good thing I sat down to eat it there otherwise I would have noticed at the hotel. Sandwich was soggy even though I grabbed it the second they put it on the shelf. Believe the bad reviews and go to another subway or another restaurant. They don’t care about the customer or quality of food they are giving to the customer.

I give it 5 stars only because the lady who was making my sandwich changed her gloves right before ( most places we have to ask) and cleaned the knife prior to making us a 100% plant based sandwich.

That’s when Chris Knapp jumped into action. He jumped behind the counter, washed his hands and started to help.
