This Subway is absolutely unacceptable. Do yourselves a favor and go to Panera instead! I walked in on Saturday, April 19th and was helped by Juan. I ordered a pizza (as-is), Doritos, two chocolate chip cookies, and a medium fountain drink. As anyone familiar with Subway knows, the drink cup is given at the end of the order. When I went to the soda machine, the only available option was regular Coke. The Cherry Vanilla Coke I wanted—and most of the other options—were out of syrup.
I kindly let Juan know and asked to switch to a bottled drink. He rudely accused me of doing this before, which is completely false—this was the first and only time I’ve made such a request. He told me I should have checked the machine before paying. That responsibility falls on staff—not the customer.
To make matters worse, I found a fly in my sandwich and saw a roach crawling on the floor. I have pictures to prove it. The place was filthy and the service was disrespectful. Do yourself a favor and avoid this location, especially if Juan is the one taking your order.

We got there while the lady finished moping an hour before closing. She told us we needed to wait and specifically said “a 5 minute wait isn’t going to kill you” as I was with my kids. She was extremely rude and said I’m too young to be impatient. When I didn’t understand something she said. I mean she was just unprofessional and the lady who worked today was again rude. Left to a different subway.

The service at this Subway on W 29th and 8th is top-notch! The staff is friendly, attentive, and goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Overall, eating at this restaurant was a pleasure from beginning to end. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the chicken teriyaki and tuna salad.
