I’d also like to add that the place was kind of dirty. The drink are had a layer of dust on all surfaces and the bathroom looked like a murder scene. I’d be ok if I never step foot in that place ever again.
Without even checking, she immediately said, “That order ain’t here,” in an extremely rude tone. Confused, I explained that the app still showed it was ready for pickup. I asked if maybe someone had grabbed it by mistake, since I saw another bag left on the shelf. Rather than showing any willingness to help or problem-solve, she doubled down, telling me there was nothing she could do because her coworker had made the order and already left. That made no sense—whether her coworker made it or not, the food was clearly missing.
I calmly asked if the order could be remade. This was dinner for two after a long day and cost us $32. She refused again, even questioning if the order was really under my name. I offered to show ID and my receipt in the app. She still refused to help, refused to contact her manager, and said it wasn’t “an important matter.”
When I asked for a refund and proof it was processed, she blew up and walked away. Ten minutes later—after finally calling her manager—she came back and suddenly had two options: remake the food now or come back in the morning for a refund. So apparently it was possible to help me, but only after I was disrespected and treated like a liar.
I’ve worked in hospitality and sales most of my life, and I understand mistakes happen. What I don’t understand is the complete lack of professionalism, empathy, or accountability. This was ridiculous, uncalled for, and completely mishandled.
I don’t usually post bad reviews, but this experience deserves to be known. I truly hope management addresse
I and gentleman walked into subway around 9:30.
I asked Anna if I could have the ghost pepper bread. She said we don’t have that. What you see in front of you is what you get.
I said ok can I have a 6 inch? She then asked me what I’d like. I said a veggie sub. She added the cheese & then we got to the vegetables.
The gentleman next to me told her that he did not speak English and her response was ok so you don’t want to eat? I said to her that is rude. She ignored
Me. I assist how I could with the creation of his sub.
We went back to my vegetable. I asked her for more olives and she said you want extra? We’re only allowed to put 6 olives. I said ok to go ahead and put more olives that’s fine if it’s extra.
I sat down at the table and she said the dinning room is closed. I said I don’t see a sign that indicates that the dinning room is closed. She said she didn’t have a chance to put on up and her district manager is fine with her putting up a sign to close so she can close.
I asked her if I could just finish my sandwich and she said fine you’re making more work for me.
Then the gentleman sat down and he began eating. She shouted to him and said the dinning room is closed. He continued eating.
She then started to stack the chairs and stood up on the bench of the booth to tune the open sign off.
Then locked the door. Placed a sign that the dinning room was closed and started mopping the floor right next to me. The gentleman left.
A lady approached the door and looks like Anna had locked it. So I point the door that was open. Once she entered, Anna quickly told the lady that the dinning room was closed and did not greet her or ask what she wanted.
This behavior is disrespectful, disturbing and unacceptable. This is terrible customer service and treating someone who does not speak English as they lost their right to eat is racism.
