I had the worst subway experience here. That older lady is rude to me when she was taking my order. Her tone is very rude and does not clearly pay attention to the words of a customer. It came off that I’m the one who’s at fault when I clearly told her that I wanted the sandwich to be toasted. Such a very simple word but she did not pay attention to it. Told me after that she heard “no toasted” when I was very clear and loud with my words. She came off blaming me.
I just paid for it because I did not want to make a commotion, but I will never come back to this Subway and I do not recommend people to buy here.
It was my first time in this Subway and I did not like my experience at all. I do not recommend people to come here.

The old woman Joyce (I believe that’s her name) is one of the worst employees I’ve ever met at a subway franchise. She once worked on the Subway on-base at Seymour Johnson before being switch to this one in Goldsboro. She was rude then, and she’s still rude now. I understand she has a medical hearing issue, but it doesn’t mean you have to be mean to your customers. If anything, she’s really not capable of working at a Subway in her old age with her hearing.
Doesn’t help that she’s the only one working alone no matter which Subway she’s at. I’m not entirely sure if she’s the manager. I previously went to this Subway about a month ago and had a decent experience with another employee at the drive-thru. So I’m not entirely sure how much Joyce works here or if they switch her around, although I haven’t seen here lately on the on-base Subway. But I would’ve never tipped here on the subway app if I knew she was working here.
And on top of all that, I came at 2:40pm for my pick up order. Typically employees would greet you and say something like “Hello, Welcome to Subway! Do you have an online order? Not always, but the Subway in Snow Hill at the Handy Mart gas station deals with online orders wonderfully when I used to live near there. I waited inside the store for over 20 minutes alongside another customer who was at the drive thru as she was making sandwiches for 3 customers who she was being rude at. Doesn’t apologize to them for being rude. Only apologies to the drive thru customer for the wait, and chooses to ask for my name in a rude angry tone for my pick up order with no apology. All with a bunch of customers who are waiting in line as well.
I’m not mad about the wait. I’m mad that she’s still working at a Subway establishment. I won’t be going to this Subway again and neither Seymour’s if I ever see her behind the counter.

We ordered pickup, and went to the drive thru, the lady went to the drive thru womdow and said we had to come in to pickup. There was NOBODY in store other than the 3 workers. 1 was sitting at a table doing nothing, 1 who made the sandwich and the 3rd was mopping, but there were 0 customers other than us and the order was ready.

The service was absolutely terrible. I couldn’t get her name, nor did she have a name tag, but the lady taking our order her attitude was absolutely rude. If anyone needs a class on how to treat costumers it’s her, just because she hates her job does not mean other people don’t need to be treated with common decency. You can hate your job, and still treat others with respect.

False advertising & Disrespectful to military. Their corporate website says free 6inch sub on Veterans Day. But they steered me to a footlong Terikayi Sandwich for $3. The manager stepped in and charged me $13! The manager was rude & dishonest to military. I politely declined & left. From reading the other reviews, its the same lady. Corporate & owner should be contacted because her bad demeaner is driving all customers the away.

The two ladies that work mornings are very rude!! The older lady with black hair with no name tag is the worst, if you dont speak good English do not go, she will not serve you!! I have worked at 2 different subways and my uncle was a manager of a subway so we know the rules!! They will not allow you to get “extra pickles” or any extra veggies, if you ask for extra meat its not even a half of a scoop!!! They always roll their eyes when you walk in the store…. overall this store is horrible to deal with, go to wayne memorial!!! Wayne memorial is a friendly environment and allows extra veggies, they are not rude, great service!!!

I frequent this location because it’s closer. The older white lady at this location is always rude. I will assume she is the manager. Never greets customers.
Today the way she treated an elderly lady was just disgusting. WHAT KIND OF BREAD? YOU CANT USE THAT COUPON. Her tone of voice was just rude, rude, rude!! After reading a few negative reviews I am surprised her attitude hasn’t been addressed by higher management.
If you have time I suggest go to the one on Wayne Memorial. They will greet you as soon as you walk in.
