I recently encountered significant issues with the Subway app and customer service at the location on 3604 Robert C. Byrd Drive in Beckley, WV. I placed an order through the app, which charged me immediately and indicated my sandwich would be ready in 15 minutes. However, when I arrived, the sandwich was not prepared, and staff refused to make it or issue a refund.
After waiting an hour to speak with the manager, I was informed that this issue “happens often” and that I’d need to wait for the payment to return to my account. Eventually, the store’s general manager intervened, and my sandwich was made, but the quality was substandard.
Days later, the refund has not been issued, and the app still shows the order as pending pickup, even though the payment is marked complete. My attempt to address this with Subway’s corporate office has not resolved the situation.
This experience raises concerns about Subway’s app functionality, customer service, and accountability. I would recommend caution when ordering through the app or visiting this particular location.
Had a lady that waited on me asked a few questions as if I knew someone I answered yes and than she proceeded to ask aren’t you married and I said getting yes than the whole atmosphere changed she was allowed to say pretty much what she wanted to and no redirection was given by the manager that was on shift with her, and it was condoned pretty much I have never been in a situation that I have settled dwn like this at my store but never have I thought I’d be placed in one and never have I ever been so embarrassed to say the least that the employee just because we have a person we know in common that she felt it necessary to continue to try to take me out my character by broadcasting my personal business even taking it to “ you better hope I don’t find out who your husband is because I’ll surely tell him” and than the manager going onto say that don’t matter now days” smh disgraceful and shameful behavior
