Horrible experience!!! Buyer beware. On Friday, November 14, 2025 at approximately, 6:30 A.M. I stopped by the restaurant to pay now and pick up at 12:00 P.M. six (6) different sandwiches. The lady/employee working at the time…gave me significant push back….we’re going to be busy with catering until then…we don’t have time to make the sandwiches….she called her manager…we spoke on the phone…the manger stated the same..I will not have time to make the sandwiches…the manage suggested…she will make the sandwiches immediately then…allow the sandwiches to sit for six hors for pick-up…huh…OMG. Why would any one in the restaurant busy allow customer food to purposely…deliberately sit and knowing the potential of food poisoning? Subway motto is “fresh”. This Subway actions does not support “fresh”!!

I go in here quite a bit,well today I’ve had enough,if they don’t know you personally you do not get the same service! There’s and older lady with a mustache that’s always making comments on how much vegetables I get on my sub,like “how you gonna eat that?” Well today she’s the one that made my sub today and while she chatted to the person behind me that she obviously knew she said “whatchu want on this,come on!” Like rushing me,then when she half made it and struggled to close it,it all fell apart and she just wrapped it up to make it look like it was ok,THEN the manager checks me out and every time never makes eye contact or has any customer service at all until she ALSO sees someone she knows,I watch and pay attention to everything bc I too used to work for Subway,I also get food for my patient and his wife too so a loss of 3 customers they will have!!!

I fully understand that finding an open “Subway” restaurant, close to where we’re driving on I95, on Easter Sunday , might possibly be difficult. Yet there it was when I searched my terribly smart phone. The location was Emporia, Va.
When we entered, I noticed it was really uncomfortably cold in the place. I quickly forgot about myself when I saw three girls
They were holding their easily acquired cold arms. And yet, they were able to smile at us and greet us with a smile. I was quite impressed with their professionalism. There’s no way I could have been smiling if I were in their position. I said “Aren’t you cold”? They nodded yes, and both uncomfortably glanced to their right. AHA !!! A man was sitting there reading the paper. Gee…he was dressed comfortably. His bare arms weren’t showing like the staff. I mouthed “Is he the magager”?
They nodded yes. I wanted to see if he’s as kind and congenial with his actual customers. I moved around and was directly in his view. He did not look up. No glance. Nada.
On a professional level… regardless of whatever may be happening in your professional or personal life, there is absolutely no excuse for not treating a customer OR your staff (male, female, young, or old) in a friendly and kind manner. What I witnessed was thoughtless and unkind.
The cherry on the cake: Your salad had tired lettuce. BIG SURPRISE

Worse service I have ever had! Rude management, never have all the fixings for the sub of choice, all vegetables are old and look disgusting. They make your food sloppy and it turns my stomach. So I go 5 minutes south of Emporia. Skippers va location

When i asked the lady she said it was because i had bacon on them….. $10 extra for each sub with just a regular serving of bacon

Stopped here for quick lunch on a long drive. Great, friendly service. The Man with the mustache and the bandana was so friendly, making conversation with the kids. I never tip at Subways but left some extra as it was refreshing to have a nice pleasant lunch! Keep up the great work!

I enjoy subway but this location was rough. I specifically asked for just a little mustard which they proceeded to cover with half the bottle. The 3 people in front of me also go a ridiculous amount of mayo. Lighten up on the condiments guys. Also, $10.42 for a 6 inch sandwich is getting kinda ridiculous.
