I have been a Subway Sandwiches customer now for 30 years. In that time I have eaten at 100 or so different locations throughout the northern Virginia area and beyond. And I’d have to say about 55-60% of those restaurants are complete Garbage (rotten vegetables and employees). About 30% of the locations are OK places (good enough, but nothing great). And the rest are very nice establishments.
Now comes this place, This Subway is THE BEST Subway restaurant I have EVER been to (and I have been to a lot of them). I have been going to this Subway for 3 years now. The different employees come and sadly go, but one thing always remains constant, everybody who works here are Exceptional Individuals (if they don’t like their jobs, they don’t make it the customer’s problem). Always very happy to make your sandwich Exactly the way you want it; And always Nice to talk to. No matter who’s behind the counter, it’s always the same. ..Not bad management for a ‘gas station’.

Whatever culture these employees are from, it is one without courtesy and common sense. They are aggressive, nasty and always trying to provoke an argument. I disputed an $11 charge for a sandwich that is supposed to be in the $7 range. The “associate” tried to shout me down, insisting he was right….well, he wasn’t right, and while it took several days to recover the amount for which I was overcharged (ALWAYS SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS!), I have realized that it is not just the employees behind the Subway counter – all of the employees in this store like this. Based on other reviews of this facility, it seems that I am not alone in reaching this conclusion. Stupidity and arrogance are a bad mix, and this store has plenty of both.

Owner or manager has decided no one should have access to a restroom after closing. Mind you, this is located inside a gas station! No travelers can use the restroom designed for use by the gas station. Whose idea was this?

I placed an order at the store by accident. I called a minute later after I saw in the email. They refused to give me a refund and told me I needed to talk to corporate. I talked to corporate and they couldn’t give me a refund. They told me I needed to talk to the store.

Filthy! Bathrooms are gross, but owner denies it. No soap or water, so I’m not sure how employees will wash their hands. Owner and most employees are very difficult to understand.
