I am writing to report an extremely concerning experience at this Subway location around 12:00 PM. I have never had such a negative experience at any Subway before.
The male employee working at that time was visibly rushed and aggressive for no apparent reason. Early in the interaction, he threw an empty ranch bottle at the wall, which was alarming and completely inappropriate in a food service environment.
His behavior continued to escalate as he handled food recklessly. He sliced the bread carelessly and even managed to drop approximately six inches of bread onto the floor, then kicked it across the floor, which is completely unacceptable from a food-safety standpoint.
He was also not careful with food preparation, placing cheese into the lettuce bin and mixing chicken into the beef, showing a serious disregard for proper food handling, cross-contamination standards, and customer safety.
He repeatedly yelled from the back of the store at another employee, causing her visible distress. She struggled to hear him, and the constant shouting created a very uncomfortable and chaotic environment for customers.
Additionally, he did not ask whether we wanted our bread toasted before placing it directly into the oven. Later, when the female employee correctly informed a customer that jalapeños could not be added due to Subway’s rules and regulations, he openly disregarded her, told the customer he “doesn’t follow the rules,” and added them anyway—undermining both company policy and his coworker’s authority.
This employee’s actions showed a lack of professionalism, disregard for food safety, and disrespect toward both customers and fellow staff. The situation felt unsafe and unprofessional, and it reflects poorly on the brand.
I hope management takes this report seriously and addresses this behavior promptly.

This Subway appears to be testing the waters of other Subways. Previously, this location would allow coupon code usage, allowing it to be an affordable healthy option for a quick lunch break. Now this location has discontinued any coupon usage turning it into a high cost option. The only advantages it had are now gone and there are no reasons to visit it over other local options such at M&M or the West Side Deli.

It is sad too. I have had 0 issues here. Good quality consistent food. Well staffed allowing for quick turn around, but now it runs me 25$ for 2 subs. Add in the fact, Subway has discontinued their flat breads, which gave me the option of going lower carb/calories. I have gone from spending probably $150 a month here to now most likely 0.

I placed a large order Friday, 1/23, for pickup today 1/27 to provide a hearty meal for St. Paul’s hard-working maintenance staff. Jessica was very efficient and great to work with! This is the 4th time I’ve worked with them and have been very satisfied each time.

Placed a online order, they put the wrong meats and toppings on the wrong breads,I called them and they told me to bring back the subs and they would make new ones, I found that frustrating considering there 10 minutes away. I was hoping they would just of credited me the 14 dollars for the Subs and made it easy instead of wasting gas and driving back to the store. I will not return and recommend buying a better quality sub somewhere else.

Every time I visit, I ask for my sandwich to be cut because it’s simply more convenient for me. I know it’s a small request and not something to get overly upset about, but it’s frustrating. Last time, instead of cutting it properly, they just put a knife in the bag with one cut. This time, I even wrote in the notes to please cut the sandwich into 4 pieces, and they didn’t cut it at all. Honestly, it feels petty and unacceptable. On top of that, my sandwich wasn’t even made correctly. I had also asked for extra condiments in the same box where I requested the cut, and they added those, so I know they saw my note.

The place was clean and appeared well maintained, and the staff was kind and extremely helpful. They were willing to help rebuild a sandwich to help accommodate my husband who has a food allergy. When I got home, both my husband and I enjoyed the quality of our food. Thank you so much, Will definitely come back.
