Visited the Wilkinsburg subway. Asked what was on a cold cut sub, the manager Omar said it is turkey based, it has salami and bologna on it. I said that’s pork not turkey based. He was very short with me. I told the young lady that was waiting on me just give me the nachos since your manager doesn’t know what’s on a sub. Omar then said we are not selling any more nachos. Instead of arguing I just left. Omar is the manager with a short temper and was not nice at all.

Cancelled my online order because they didn’t honor the coupon code that was accepted on the app. I wasn’t notified until I got there to pick up the food. No food ready so I had to place a new order and wait. They gave me $2 off, but the coupon was for buy 1 get 1 footlong free, so not much of a discount. And while I was waiting, they denied accepting another customers Subway gift card, stating “we don’t honor those gift cards”. Not sure what’s up but everything seems shady and unacceptable.

If you enjoy soggy sandwiches, brown lettuce and spinach this is the Subway for you. I got my 6incher toasted twice and it was still soggy and falling apart. They do not take coupons and charge more than other Subways.

I haven’t been to this particular location in years. My most recent trip was a pleasant surprise. I guess they have new staff and management because the service was quick and friendly and the exact opposite of my past experiences. I will definitely be back to this location because they were awesome.
