We stop at this location often on our way from Canada to Clinton NJ. The staff are amazing, and in particular of note is the manager who is outgoing, friendly, and represents Subway and this location in a positive manner. You will not be disappointed. Dansville is only 30 seconds from Interstate 390, with easy on easy off ramps and lots of room for big rigs to park. Please drop in and say hello. You will leave, having enjoyed all that Subway has to offer in regards to fresh ingredients, and healthy choices. I have read a few of the other reviews, and suspect that they were tired during a long road trip. Their experiences were not what I have found at this location after at least 15 visits.

Im a traveling worker and stop at many subways, I usually always get double meat and double cheese and always ask for sauce on before toasting, and they never do only after so it makes the sub cold, if they get my order right I tip 20$ and I’m big so I order 3 subs they had ads for buy 3 get 4th free never have I had this, I honestly feel bad for the workers because they are limited on veggies, I like hot food but when I say jalapenos that’s the whole sub.

I’ve been an avid subway goer for years but I will not be going back to the dansville location even though it is the closest one to me. Today I ordered a salad that consists of a splash of lettuce and a few pieces of spinach and even worse each veggie I ordered the girl only placed 3 pieces of each in. For example 3 olives placed in the salad. No fault of her own she made me aware the owners have determined 3 of each veggies is the correct amount to give anyone in a salad or sub. I understand maybe not going to over board on veggies like they use to but I spent $12 on a salad I’ll still be hungry after eaten. The staff was wonder but the restrictions by the owners will put this location out of business.

I did convince the nice worker to add a few more veggies thank goodness. But still overall doesn’t even fill a quarter of the bowl.

Ordered a new protein wrap. They said they were out of tomatoes so I asked for black olives instead. They refused said no substitutions. Bullcrap not going back do not recommend

They don’t offer water. You only have to buy! It was the first subway I have ever seen in my life! They also frown on you if you ask to add more than 2 sauces. They even don’t give you paper napkins if you don’t ask. So weird! We did not have any better option but if you have it’s better to avoid.

This is a trashy subway branch. Not worth stopping by. really rude employees. Sparse toppings. Stale bread. You can’t bring in your own water and drink it. The sub was still cold even after toasting it.

I have grown up and been in this community, other than a few years that I have been absent recently for the entire 38 years that I have been alive. I was always taught and still believe in my own practices that the customer is always correct. Today I went into SUBWAY® and I asked politely if I could please have my sauce on the side, and I was told that they do not do that. I asked why I could not have the sauce that would be going onto my sub anyways could not just be put onto the side in the event that I did not want to finish my sandwich or wanted to dip it. The young lady named MaKayla went and got her manager, after not being able to answer my question to rather or not they were a private owned subway or part of a franchise.

The manager that I was unable to obtain her name informed me that they do not put sauce on the side. I reiterated my concern that I was already paying for the sauce that was being applied to my sandwich. I just did not want it on my sandwich, there was nothing additional. I told her that if this was a policy that it needed to be posted, and I can guarantee that it is not a corporate thing because I visit subways all over this nation and ask for my sauce on the side frequently. 

As this discussion transpired between me and the manager at no point did I swear, raise my voice, be rude, or act the normal “Jerm”. I was then informed that I could leave without paying for my sandwiches or I could pay for my sandwiches, but was not going to be given any sauce at all, and during this exchange, the pperson pictured in a FedEx uniform decided to look across the restaurant and call me “a joke”. I proceeded to take his picture because I feel that anyone representing a company should not be condescending to anyone let alone when the situation does not even involve you

Subway then decided to call the Livingston County sheriffs on me for taking pictures in their restaurant and their customers. Let me be clear – I know my rights, and I know that I did nothing wrong.

First and foremost, you should not eat Subway because they have chemicals in their bread that are used for yoga mats – but after my experience today, I will never eat Subway again, regardless of where I am.

Subway, I am calling you out!

Edit: Yesterday at Subway, I left peacefully after paying
& tipping without any sauce on my sandwich or on the side…

A Livingston Co. Sheriff showed up at my parents house around 6PM and issued me a life time ban from Airport Plaza Subway.

He told me and my mother both that he didn’t see where I had done anything wrong after reviewing the footage of the restaurant – but as a private business they can decide who to serve and who not.

I have no intentions of doing so, but if I were to return – I would be arrested for trespassing.

My family and I stopped here to grab a bite on our way to Jersey City from Toronto, Canada.

I definitely would not recommend this subway, as the owner was not only rude but unaccommodating, too. I asked them what sauces they have and they informed me they have “oil and vinegar”, so I said yes to it. When she put the vinegar on, it was a red colour. When I asked what kind of vinegar it is, they told me it’s red wine and I made them aware I am allergic to red wine. I assumed she was offering white vinegar, since she did not specify. The person who made my salad felt really bad and was willing to re-make it but the rude owner was there and asked me, “didn’t you see what she put on?!” And I told her yes I did, which is why I asked what kind of vinegar when I noticed it was a red colour. She just gave me the death stare and I didn’t want to inconvenience her so I agreed to just pay for it and leave. The lesson I learned is always ask people to specify what they mean when they offer something.

The owner is not concerned with customer service, neither has she trained her staff to clearly specify what they’re offering. Definitely would never return and would recommend the owner to get some more training on customer service.

This subways has the freshest vegetables of any I’ve ever been to! The green peppers were super crunchy, just the way I like them The manager is also so nice and personally thanked me for the compliment. If I lived closer I would come to this location much more frequently!
