Great, modern, Subway located in the Ocean Plaza. Very clean interior & have restrooms for customers. Plenty of seating both high top and low. Freshly slicing meats (turkey, roast beef, ham). Got the Outlaw regular cheese; was asked if I’d like the veggies toasted with the sub, a nice thought. Straightforward pay, the worker mentioned sometimes the subway rewards/subway app payment method doesn’t work which they’ll substitute by entering your linked phone number. Very quick, cheerful, service and friendly workers. Recommended Subway.

I’ve been going to this Subway since we moved to Westerly five years ago and am wondering if there’s a new policy or if the new guy who made my sandwich just made a mistake. When I got to my shop and unwrapped it, there was very little roast beef on it. Only four slices on a footlong. Everything else was good, as usual.

This was by far the best service we’ve had at a Subway anywhere. Both employees were friendly and patient with our large order for 6 people, but Zach absolutely made our day with his huge smile and playful attitude. Usually servers get frustrated with the kids as they tentatively ask for their veggie toppings, but Zach wasn’t just accommodating, he was encouraging. “Extra pickles? Sure! Oh, EXTRA extra pickles? Right on!!” We all ended up smiling and happy, with tasty sandwiches just the way we wanted them. Thanks, Zach, for bringing your infectious good cheer!

Update 2026: Went there recently and it’s under new management. My first takeaway order after the management change and they messed it up. They gave me someone else’s sandwich with meat that I don’t eat for religious reasons. Got home and didn’t realize till I had already taken a couple of bites. I had to drive all the way back and they wouldn’t believe me till I showed my receipt. After all that, all I got was a “sorry” and a new sandwich. While this may seem OK to some, it doesn’t even begin to make things right for the religious violation and the time and effort I had to spend. Definitely not going back there again.

Very clean and food is fresh, however the atmosphere has changed here, I have heard the manager be quite curt with the help. The employees have been there for a while, not sure what’s going on there. It does make it a bit uncomfortable.
