Loved this place. They had a few solid options for vegetarians and I got the Gio per the servers suggestion and was not disappointed. I also go the spinach salad which was good as well even though the dressing was a little thicker than normal. We got some chocolate chip cookies and lemon cookies to share as a group and the consensus was the lemon won!

The staff were super friendly and the service was great! Great vegetarian options. This place gets great reviews, but I have to say that I didn’t care for their food. I ordered the veggie soup-that was very good, but the grilled cheese and mac and cheese were flavorless, they could’ve used some seasoning possibly. Maybe I just got them on an off day.

It’s no wonder Subito holds a coveted five-star rating — this place delivers the kind of hospitality you don’t forget.
My daughter, her boyfriend, and I stopped in while charging the car, just looking for a quick bite before hitting the highway. Instead, it felt like stopping by home to see family before an adventure. We refilled our bellies and our souls.
The customer service alone is worth the visit. We were welcomed like regulars, treated with warmth, patience, and genuine kindness. I’m a sucker for great service, and these folks absolutely nailed it.
The vegetable soup tasted like a hug in a bowl — the kind that brings you straight back to a cold winter day after school, when someone’s been simmering fresh vegetables for hours just for you. Paired with fresh homemade bread turned into a simple, perfect grilled cheese, it was comforting in a way that feels rare these days. I don’t eat meat, but I’ll admit the other options looked incredibly tempting.
I’m already looking forward to the next opportunity to stop by. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and check them out.

Indy is so incredibly lucky to be the home of Subito, and if you live in Indianapolis and haven’t gone…you’re doing yourself a disservice. I work nearby and eat here at least once a week. The food is always ready when I arrive, it’s fresh, hot, consistent, and (expiative) delicious.
I would highly suggest the DIP sandwich, toasted bread, slow cooked, tender meat, and the au jus is one of the best I have ever tasted. I could and would drink it shamelessly through a straw. They also have a rotating soup menu, which as a soup lover is the best thing ever.
The staff is always chill and friendly. Everything about this Subito, from the energy of the staff to the food points to people who genuinely take pride in and enjoy what they do.

What a cool spot. Great for lunch (goes without saying based on the hours they’re open), super relaxed, attentive service, great food. I had the Cuban sandwich and corn chowder and both were top notch.

Look, this spot surprised me. I actually loved my sandwiches. I got the brisket and pork shoulder dipper that was recommended. Both were really good! I would definitely hit up this place again. My only gripe is that it’s a smaller place and people were wanting to sit while other people that had finished their food, hung around and talked for 20-30 minutes. Folks, if you are done eating at a busy spot…after about 5 minutes, get up and go! Don’t be rude, continue socializing outside.

Good sandwich and soup but small portions. I usually able to share a sandwich but this one I could’ve ate by myself. I’d like to try other things before I make a final decision because this place has very good reviews but the pastrami sandwich I ordered was nothing special

Great spot for a quick sandwich, bowl of soup or salad. I had the Cuban sandwich which was amazing! Delectable roasted pork and ham were complimented by the mustard and pickles. The side of macaroni salad was very good as well. My friends said the Chicken Velvet soup was amazing, with tender pieces of chicken. Portion sizes were good for the money. Definitely worth the price based on the quality and freshness of the food.

Cool vibe, soup was solid. Sandwich was small and was pretty normal. I got a poeta but wasn’t too impressed by it — just a thick slice of turkey and a hunk of cheese on a panini. I’d like to try some more sandwiches from this place. But overall I like the vibe of the institution a nice Indy staple
