Subzone is the best. Have been a customer for 15 years and have never left unsatisfied. They know my name when I come in, are super friendly, and my order is ready on time. When my kids come home from college, they always request a Subzone run. Love this place!

I would give this place 100 stars if I could!!!! Always been my go to place for subs and catering as I love to support local businesses! But seriously what a true hidden gem! The food never disappoints, and everyone who works there is so friendly and always comes through! A true family feeling 🙂 Their classic turkey and provolone, italian, and all their cold salads are a go-to! You must try their “sloppy joes”, I dream about these 😉

Stopped in Friday, Nov 7, 2025. Impressed by the customer service I received. Cheese sub was EXCELLENT. Store is clean and organized. Prices are lowest around for miles. Very reasonable. Thank you to the female for being so accommodating to my needs, all while being polite. Wonderful service, experience and food. Park in street. Not sure if there is alternative parking available. Don’t care, this is my deli for life.

Having just moved back East from LA, I’ve been desperate to get a good, old fashioned deli sub…and Sub Zone didn’t disappoint. I had the eggplant parm and not only was it delicious, but I got it for a song. Something as big and as good as this woulda cost me more than double back in La La Land. And not only that, the folks who work there make a point of greeting everyone who stops by. I’m a big fan now and can’t wait to try another sub soon!

Wow with out doubt the BEST Place to go for food . I’ve stopped here a bunch of times already and waited to see if it was just pure luck or just by chance but they are a truly an awesome place to eat . I ordered a Sloppy Joe the last couple visits and the sandwich is huge on fresh bread and the perfect amount of coleslaw on it . Place was busy and the staff are super nice and courteous with fast service & prices are great.

There is no other shop like sub zone. As a kid growing up in Scotch Plains the go to sub shop was Dukes Submarines. Nothing has come close to them until I found Sub Zone. Over the years I’ve ordered several party trays for family gatherings and special events. They are the only place I go to for work events and holidays. They are always so accommodating and even help me decide on which party trays to order. The sandwich and wrap trays are incredible and stuffed full with meats and/or vegetables and come with sides. Sub zone is so accommodating they even met me early in the morning before they opened to pick up my special order for Thanksgiving!!! Thank you for always being amazing Sub Zone!!

The menu is larger then you think it is at price more affordable then you expect. Clean tables and v floors v while the walls are decked with homage to classic metal music. Did i mention the staff is freindly?! 10/10 will be going again
