So I literally just left there, and I just got finished cutting my yard and pressure washing my house, they were all chatting till I walked in the. They stared at me for a good 10 seconds before saying hello welcome… Etc especially the older fat guy , which I think is manager or owner but mainly him, then the young guy who fixed my food has no sense of customer service, at all no communication skills, he literally was about to finish making my sandwich without putting everything I asked for on there, I literally had to tell him everything I said again, and instead of an audible ok, just a nod like he was hanging out with his boys from high school or something. Not only that but they CHARGED ME FOR THE WRONG ORDER I ordered the salami ham and cheese, the dude who made my sandwich told the cashier an Italian, I thought the meat cutter told him/made me the wrong order/mistake, but nope they charged me for wrong order. Then a white couple came in right after me, then I noticed the way how they were getting serviced differently than I was, as far as asking what they want… Etc, word of advice go to Subway, Jersey Mikes, or Jimmy jonhns, because there they actually communicate, and seem atleast happy to be there atleast, oh btw for the person/worker reading this, I was the guy who had on a black shirt and shorts, drove a silver car came in like around 2:30ish July 5th 2025.So you can’t say this review is fake or I’m lying, and I also attached photo of the sandwich, the way how this store is ran/people hired. I am more inclined to believe this store will suffer the same fate as West Ashley, Dorchester Rd., rivers Ave in Permanently closes. The thing is, was that those stores literally had good customer service, and I literally drove to go there. I was actually excited when I saw one popped up near me/this store…. Oh how anticlimactic.

Edit: The older women who ranged me up was pretty nice, and she just rung up what the dude told her. I sensed nice and sincerety from her, her kindness just doesn’t translate with the rest of the store, so mam if you read this review it nothing towards you, but the rest of them this totally applies.

I looked at the menu and got the regular veggie. It says it comes with yellow, Swiss and provolone. I was told only 1 cheese. I didnt want lettuce, and got 1 tomato slice, 2 cucumber slices and some banana peppers. I had more bread than veggies-a wish me sandwich. Plus having to yell over a barrier was weird. Not impressed.

I’ve been a loyal customer since opening day. Love the Owner and her staff. Her friendly staff i should say. I love the salads, sandwiches , and especially the cookies!!! Omggg the cookies! But today on Memorial Day was like I walked into a Subway at a gas station. I always get a large #19 and large ham and cheese sandwich or salad with my usual sweet tea and 1 or 3 cookies. Today I wanted to try something different so i chose a large italian all the way with mayo. And i got 2 slices of ham one slice of salami and1 slice of cheese. very upset and frankly my feelings were hurt. When i was deciding which one I wanted the lady was motioning and rolling her eyes for me to hurry up and order. Didn’t see any of the staff i normally see and assumed it was due to day and night shift. And that is exactly what they are. Day and night. Again just very disappointed. Whats going on guys?

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent visit to Substation II.
When I arrived, the first employee who prepared my sandwich was polite and professional. However, the second guy who added my toppings was extremely rude and dismissive. He repeatedly rushed me by saying “what else, what else, what else,” not giving me time to respond, and acted as though he could not hear me. There was only one person behind me in line, so there was no reason to rush or treat me with impatience.
As I was leaving, another employee asked if I was back again, and I told her yes — but that I would not be returning because of how I was treated. When I asked where the owner was, he yelled out that he was the owner. I was honestly shocked. It is very disappointing to see an owner treat customers in such a short, disrespectful manner. Leadership sets the tone for the entire establishment.
Customer service matters. No customer should feel rushed, unheard, or disrespected while spending their money.
Unfortunately, I will not be returning due to this experience.

Staff was super friendly and the subs were plenty large. Compared to Jersey Mike’s and Firehouse they sure seemed cheaper too.
We definitely miss Larry’s but this Sub Station II does a great job.

It’s a sub place. The hype that bought is here was not valid. I had the meatball sub and my husband had the number 19. They were both just okay. The customer service is top tier though.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I’ve been going there since they opened and the sandwich I got tonight is just ridiculous! I paid almost 34.00 for 2 large sandwiches and 2 chips. Whatbi got was the thinnest single layer of meat and cheese I have EVER seen in my life. I mean paper thin. I won’t be going back…I’ll try Jersey Mike’s or something, but I won’t be going back there. I realize times are hard but don’t rip off your customers. You should be ashamed of even charging money for those sandwiches!

Love to say I ate the food but as I was standing in line the case was practically empty with no meats but that wasnt my issue. My issue came with the guy making the sandwiches. As he was cutting the meats and cheeses his dreadlocks were hitting the food. Was gross and unfortunately enough for me to decide to leave.

I have been a fan of Sub Station II for many years. Since the ones on Redbank Rd and in Otranto Plaza and more recently the one in Santee until it too was gone. Having a Sub Station in Goose Creek again is an answer to my Bits n Pieces/Super Salad cravings. Mmmmm! But what most sticks out is the amazing customer service I have ALWAYS received in these restaurants! Thank you!!!

This place is nothing like this old one on Dorchester rd or the goose creek one ! Today was the last time for me, I’ve had it three times since they’ve opened. Each time I said I would give them another chance. Very little meat, probably like five slices on a large sub. Quality of the meat is poor! $16.00 for a sub there, no thank. Subway is probably better. Yall need to step up your game or you won’t last like this.
