I don’t understand why anyone is leaving bad reviews on this place. They were so amazing, welcoming, and the food was excellent. My husband got the country fried steak and it was no lie THE BEST we have ever had, and we used to live in the South.

Yes, there are dogs. Don’t go here if that bothers you. Personally, I love dogs and love to know they’re not being neglected at home all day while the owners run a restaurant and bar. Yes, they charge for water because most people waste their water and UT is always in a drought. Honestly, I thought that was genius and more of the USA should adopt this policy.

I can’t wait to bring friends and family back here. Huntsville is being way overdeveloped and this place was a nice local old-school spot that makes you forget about the apartment buildings, condos, and other crap popping up all around Pineview.

Thank you for a lovely Sunday breakfast!

An Unforgettable Gem in the Heart of Huntsville – Chris’ Cafe

If you’re anywhere near Huntsville, Utah and haven’t been to Chris’ Cafe… you’re seriously missing out on the best restaurant experience this town—and honestly, this entire side of the state—has to offer.

Chris’ Cafe isn’t just a restaurant. It’s a family-run treasure, built on love, pride, and old-fashioned hard work. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted like you’re walking into someone’s home—and that’s exactly how it feels. Warm, welcoming, and full of heart. The kind of place that reminds you what truly matters: good food, good people, and a strong sense of community.

The food? Absolutely incredible. From their hearty breakfasts to their made-from-scratch comfort classics, everything is cooked with the kind of care and quality you just can’t fake. Every bite tells a story—of tradition, passion, and family values. You won’t leave hungry, and you’ll be counting the days until you can come back.

The staff is amazing—many of them are family members and local teens, and every single one of them goes above and beyond. They’re kind, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there. The whole place buzzes with a wholesome energy that’s impossible to manufacture.

Honestly, anyone who walks away from Chris’ Cafe displeased must be either wildly impatient or completely out of touch with what makes a restaurant great. This isn’t fast food—it’s real food, made by real people who care. So if you’re in a rush, maybe go grab a drive-thru burger. But if you want to be treated like family and enjoy a meal that nourishes your soul as much as your stomach, then this is the place.

Bottom line: Chris’ Cafe is a local institution, and one of the best family-owned restaurants you’ll ever find. Skip the chains. Support the dream. And come experience what real food and real hospitality feel like.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 — Worth every bite and every moment.

Rustic and charming. I love the feel of Chris’s. The service was super friendly. They also have a very fun shop for emergency things you may have forgotten if you are camping. The only reason we didn’t give them a five-star for the food was because their shakes are actually more like a McDonald’s McFlurry. Still delicious, but not really a shake!

I would eat here just to see Gracie. She is a super sweet Bernese Mountain Dog that came over for some pets before we got our food. The diner is in the same building as the gas station. But it’s perfect for quick easy food like burgers and chicken fingers. Everyone recommended the milkshakes need to go back. The interior has a funky lodge feel and I really liked the bright green back room. Good service staff is friendly. Definitely a local spot since the staff seemed to know a lot of people that came in.

Had a lovely breakfast while out for a Sunday drive. The chicken fried steak was perfect and really enjoyed the smokey bacon. If in the area would not hesitate to eat again.

This little ma and pa establishment is everything you’d hope for and MORE! The staff is super cool and very friendly. The food is so good, I had to stop mid chomp to snap this pic (peep it). I NEVER halt my eating process, but this was just too good. Great time, great people, great food. The bathroom is a little scary, gives me five nights at fredd’y vibes, but it adds to the experience greatly. Highly recommend, I will go back again.

Took the family on a rainy cloudy day. The place empty. It was really great. The service was great. The burgers were. All with a 1/3 lbs. I recommend Chris’ burger. It has ham. The fries were good. Kids enjoyed the ice cream too. Small menu but it was good. Chicken stripes were meaty. It’s

Stop here for the milkshakes!! Seriously the most delicious milkshake ever! I thought the milkshake was overpriced but worth every penny! There weren’t nearly enough vegetarian options on the menu which was really disappointing. I ended up with an overpriced side salad that was meh. The fries were good. Chris’ burger was okay. Staff was so slow to get our order, get our food to us, & get our bill to us. The flies were out of control when we were there too. Wouldn’t recommend overall but the milkshake gets all the stars.

Absolutely kindness. Very sweet women who made excellent lunch for us. I had an unexpected wait from my own poor planning. 95 degrees outside. I sat on their patio with my 96# dog. She brought out a large bowl of water for my dog Akua. She saved us. Thank you for the yummy lunch as well as great service. Highly recommend.

This was everything a country diner should be. Comfortable, good food, fair priced. I saw somebody bellyache about the price, but you pay more at 5guys.
A bonus was the sweet Bernese Mtn Dog that greets you when you come in. My son is generally nervous around dogs, but he loved this one.
