This review might sound a little funny, but hear me out. It was a dark and stormy night. It was late. My husband and I were running around with the kids, trying to wrap up a chaotic day full of errands. We were exhausted and definitely not in the mood to cook. So we piled into the car with no real plan and just hoped to find something good to eat.
That’s when we stumbled upon this hidden gem. Believe it or not, we’ve lived in Wayne for over 20 years, and we’re even former restaurant owners, but somehow we had never seen this place before. Funny how life works. Sometimes the best discoveries happen when you least expect them.
We walked in just as they were getting ready to close. Still, the kind gentleman behind the counter greeted us warmly and told us we were welcome to dine in. Even though they were out of a few dishes due to the late hour, we ordered what was available, and let me tell you, we were blown away.
The food was absolutely delicious. So much flavor, so much care in the preparation. We knew we had to come back.
And we did about three weeks later, this time earlier in the evening. Everything was available, and again, the service was just as warm and welcoming. The same gentleman remembered us, greeted us with a smile, and made sure we were comfortable. The restaurant was spotless, the food was even better the second time, and the atmosphere felt like being welcomed into someone’s Turkish home.
If you’re looking for authentic Turkish cuisine with heartfelt hospitality, this is the place to go. From the food to the service to the cozy, welcoming vibe, it’s all just amazing.

The food here is amazing. Friendly staff and great service. Plenty of seating as well. The place is spotless and has a very modern bathroom.
Portions here are very generous, for small kids I’d recommend to share.

A classmate of mine ordered a gyro sandwich from this shop, and I got curious. We decided to dine in, and it was the best experience ever! Everything was clean, the food and dessert was DELICIOUS, and they served us Turkish Tea at the end of our meal. 5 stars all around, will hopefully become a regular customer.

The owner’s warm smile and genuine hospitality make you feel like a guest rather than just a customer the moment you walk in. We either dine in or order delivery quite often, and every single time we leave with the same level of satisfaction.
Lastly, a small and friendly request: if you add liver to the menu, it would be absolutely irresistible — next level delicious! Please, we’re kindly requesting liver!

Large parking lot, great interior and exterior seating, great customer service, always smiling, and helpful. I got the mixed platter and lentil soup, and it was amazing! The spicy green sauce and white sauce are good too. Great place will definitely come again!

The owner, Ihsan, is such a great guy! We ordered the chicken kebab and chicken kofte kebab sandwiches — everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. You can really taste the quality and care in the food. Definitely coming back!

Hands down the best gyro sandwich around and that’s saying a lot considering Paterson is right next to Wayne and packed with amazing spots. Somehow, this place still manages to beat them all every single time. The beef is cooked to perfection: crispy and flavorful on the outside, yet incredibly juicy and tender with every bite. You can tell they really know what they’re doing.
I also love how generous they are with the portions the sandwich is always fully loaded, and incredibly satisfying. The toppings are consistently fresh and perfectly balanced, which really takes the whole gyro to the next level. Their white sauce is also our favorite. Every order tastes just as good as the last, and that consistency is hard to find. It’s no surprise we find ourselves ordering from here multiple times a month. If you’re even slightly considering a gyro, this is the spot to go.
