Great time. Went to original brewery when it was open on South Bend. People were very nice and watched it we needed something. The Smoked beer was excellent!

I liked the wings, brisket nachos and the beer. However, I’ll never go back there again. I walked into the restaurant and was asked by an older woman if I was the delivery pickup person. I said, “No, I’m an engineer not a delivery driver, but thanks for asking.” This really was the most insulting thing I’ve ever experienced as a restaurant customer. The beer was good, but not cheap. I can respect that. It’s not a place you’ll come to daily for a brew and burger, but trivia night seemed to be very popular. The place was packed. The chicken caesar salad had crispy lettuce, plenty of dressing and grilled chicken breast with croutons. It could be a meal on its own. The pulled pork nachos were something that you’d find on diners drive ins and dives. The jalapeños were perfectly spicy and the chips were dripping with the nacho cheese. It’s an absolute explosion in your mouth. But, most importantly here are the smoked chicken wings. You will like this… a lot. They are seasoned to perfection. You can eat them plain or dip them in the thick ranch dressing. They do come out hot (in temp), so be careful. It’s easy to miss this place on a Main Street in a small town. There is even a Studebaker truck outside the venue. It’s cool for a photo op. Overall, without the rudeness of the older sever, I’d be here weekly. I simply cannot support a business that makes biased assumptions about customers. It shows a lack of awareness, lack of concern and lack of respect for me as a patron.

Was pleasantly surprised by my experience here the other day! We walked in on a Sunday, during music bingo, and it was packed, but the wait staff did a good job checking in on us. I ordered a flight of most of their IPAs and a mango sour and would’ve ordered a pint of any of them. I live on the West Coast so I drink a ton of craft beer – me liking all of these beers is truly unusual – which speaks to the quality of the beer here! I had the chicken sandwich which was good, but I’d recommend a sauce or seasoning to help amp up the flavor. We got the pretzel sticks which were 10/10 (definitely order these!). And my sister got the chicken margherita flatbread which everyone at our table agreed was delicious. Glad to see this spot in New Carlisle and will definitely be back!

Great addition to this small town. The variety and quality of beer is great and best of all, the food is really good. It’s nice for the town to have a quick, casual lunch option that’s not fried food. The sandwiches are gourmet and delicious. And the pretzels and beer cheese are definitely worth it.

Had some beers I liked, had some beers I didn’t care for. Same with the food, but overall something for everyone. Love the Studebaker theme and views of historic downtown New Carlisle. Would recommend trying out.

This as an amazing place! The food is amazing, relatively cheap if your on a budget, and mostly if your there with friends, this is an amazing experience. It was clean, not one thing was cold, or late! It’s truly an amazing experience!

If you plan to go there, call ahead. Last night a group of 8 of us drove 45 minutes to check them out and arrived shortly before 9:30pm. We knew that they closed at 10 but figured that we wouldn’t be there long. The woman behind the bar told us that they couldn’t help us because she had already closed her cash drawer. There was another couple there that told us that she was a real estate agent and was tired from showing houses that day. The hours are clearly posted on the door as well as their website. They should stay until the scheduled closing time. The 8 of us spent our money at a competitors establishment just down the street. At least they appreciated us.

We went there primarily for the beer selection. They have twelve options they brew on site so the beer is always fresh. The food was alright for the venue but overall I found it to be forgettable.

We tried every variety of beer and attempted to rate them amongst ourselves. The standouts were, in no particular order:

654 (blonde ale)
Rockne (Irish dry stout)
President (porter)
Milk and Cookies (cookie stout)

The rest were good in their own way. Though the mango sour was overpoweringly so. You would really need to like sour things to get the most out of that one, and it’s nearly 10% abv to boot.

The service was quite good for the venue. They explained the various beers and were overall very helpful and friendly to us. No complaints on that front.
